Did Jehovah Witness do you wrong why are talking in terms against them for they dont talk in terms against what you believe, but what the bible states!
this is a comment for your other video you take the mick out of JW they go out of their way to try and save you some do make mistakes everyone IS human so we all sin sometime even though we try not to but they dont do birthdays easter and christmas because they are fake how many others preach door to door catholics nah some may say the mormans well i am young nd i can beattheir religeon with their own worship book witnesses are the only one that carry the preaching work through they do not prfit
lol - This made me laugh. If this is true, then very precise and analytical research.
However, I have a theory. Christians, (or anyone who believes in the Lord) are commanded to fight the good fight. So they do, but it is a spiritual fight, and this is where they glean much of their spirit, valour and hope. (And quite right too - Got to do something useful in life). So maybe, their idea of heaven is a spiritual fight, like Star Wars! Brilliant, all sorted. May the Lord be with you always.
What's particularly worrying is what the 'watchtower section' of heaven is like?
Probably a padded cell. Not only full of people running different software versions of 'THE' truth, each of them has a duty to tell others about 'the truth' for all eternity.
Another concern is what the communication must be like up there too, watchtower followers are consistently poor at spelling and grammar, they think it's a waste of time if 'armageddon just around the corner' & always will. Sad but true
Did I mention that I was recently at a JW meeting, just to find out what the governing body was on about, threre were two of them at speaking, via telephone. The message was, all christianity is of the devil, that is secular, studying the Bible on your own without the litterature of JW is of the Devil, sell all you own, become a pioneer because the Great Tribulation and Armageddon, comes in Two (2) months. This was said the 25th of mai, so by end of august the world would have ended^^
So if I understand this claim correctly, not being 'of the devil', is by this definition as being any belief which is NOT based on christ, including: bhuddism, islam, judeasim, hindu, shinto, siehkism to name a few. Well the majority of humanity is OK then, bring it on!
Seriously though, these belief-engineers I imagine are not fools, they are people too like you and I. They know that if it can't be a self-fulfilling prophecy, it can be seen as a 'test from god'. Win-win situation both ways.
I mean we can all see that the watchtower movement is like a huge roller with people behind pushing it, because it's 'safer' to be there. The watchtower might not know where it's going, but it's still part of humanity, and they are all good people, even if they are a bit brainwashed. The benefits the watchtower has given humanity as a whole, is arguably worth the harm it's done to jw's lives total of which = 0.1 % world population. Benefits like Mass Marketing is just one.
JW believe every non JW is evil, more or less, or captives of the devil and it is up to them to set them free, that is to convert them to their faith. This goes for all christians out there aswell. The JW only percieve themselves as Christian, and the rest as possible agents of the devil, so they warn eachother of dealing with anyone. Those that believe in the Triune God in particular are evil, or so they claim. I find it sad that once I was part of it, but now Im finally free. :)
Hi mekelsior, if you don't mind being asked this, would you post here what was it that made you decide to free yourself from it?
Do you feel that those still remaining ever avoid asking themselves whether the total length of time they had invested in it might possibly affect their judgement of whether they are still on the right path?
I started smoking and was gently escorted out of their group. Took me 10 years to get over the loss and the betrayal. It is somewhat complicated. After some visits to various other ideas and philosophies I ended up as a Christian, (still considered a child of the devil, and shunned by my mother)
To your second question, yes most definetly, the longer a witness is with the organisation, the more difficult it is to break free, as that is all you know, that is where your heart is.
"somewhat complicated" I can imagine. I guess that once portrayed to the collective conciousness as 'demonised' for whatever, it finds its way to 3 elders who act as prosecution, judge and jury all in one. And then follows a spirit-directed lynch-mob. I guess the whole process had been sneaky and underhand the way it was done.
What would you say to anyone reading this should look out for if thinking of studying with the watchtower?

Technically God is the master mathematician and that includes geometry. Look around you and you'll see it every where in nature.

you fell for it just like i fell for the local dentist and doctors that screwed my mouth up
thats life sucker

riciard55 interesting what you wrote, serious I am. The way you put it down to experience is credible.
Was you by chance led to believe something that turned out not true, and that the dentist and doctors possibly even believed it was true at the time?
