@xxMisa92x It's called a Furisode A furisode (振袖?, lit. swinging sleeves) is a style of kimono distinguishable by its long sleeves, which average between 39 and 42 inches (99 to 107 centimeters) in length. It is the most formal style of kimono worn by unmarried women in Japan.

@dragon82a By wearing a furisode, a young woman signifies that she is both single and a legal adult, and thus available for marriage. In this sense, a furisode might be likened to the formal gowns worn by debutantes in the West.

@dragon82a Actually while it looks like furisode, the kimono worn in the video I believe is a stylized kimono inspired by Heian-era juni hitoe so it's not really a furisode.

@Fayt713 Anything by the Yoshida Brothers or Act Kadenza is pretty similar, mixing traditional Japanese music with modern stuff. For YB, my favourites are Namonaki Oka (A Hill with No Name) and Fukaki Umi No Kanata (Beyond the Deep Sea). For AK, try Shout at Disharmony and Tasteless Landscape (they need recognition...). I'm glad I found Rin', too

@Aluviel Unfortunately it is unlikely that Rin' will play in concert again, they split up early 2008. The individual members do some solo performances in Japan.
