Then there is education. We can agree that higher education opens more doors for ppl. How much is a college tuition fee, and can any one, regardless of income afford one? When even the better off middleclass homes have to save for years so they can give their children that oppertunity? what chance does a low wage single income home have? Sweden is a socialist state and we have prosperd from it. I'm from a low wage home and that has influenced my views I still think i make a valid point

In some places ppl have to chose between feeding their children and paying for healthcare insurance. When you have a crying 4 yearold, it's not a very hard decission. You feed the kid and gamble on the fact that you won't get hurt or sick.

I know there are free clinics. But are they as good as the well funded profit machines most ppl go to?

I'm with you all the way in the Politicans=thiefs opinion. But I don't buy in to the fact that its wrong of the government to handle the distribution of money between the diffrent sectors needing it. (health care, education, millitary etc.) In sweden You can't run a hospital as a profit generating buisness. And thus you cant deny the ppl who can't afford Insurance treatment. It dosen't mather if you are the prime minister or a bum In a swedish hospital you are equals.

Sweden has some of the highest taxes in the world. We have a 25% sales tax on everything we buy. The income taxe spans from 30% all the way to 50% depending on your income. And I'm fine with that. But I can get realy p***ed of about the way these taxes are spent. this summer, the crown princess is geting married. The government has aproved 40mil Skr to pay for the wedding. Thats 20 years pay for me.

I don't know how they spend their money in Cali or in Texas. Maybe Cali has more problems drainig their funds, maybe they spend more money on health care etc or maybe they are just incompetent ;). i don't know.

Good thing about taxes in sweden is. We have on of the best healthcare systems in the world and its totaly free.

We have free schooling, from preschool to the university.

We have great social services for those in need. (Sick, injured, single mothers, unemployed etc etc.)

In my opinion the single most unfair thing about taxation is the 0 taxers. The laws need to be changed to plug the holes that makes the number juggleing possible.

I belive that if the system was fair and everybody had to do their part. the will to pay tax would be bigger.
