@mariuskolleck Thanks! I did use Reason for the bassline. Just MIDI the two together and you're good to go.

what is your mixing board ?? how do you import each trrack of the mpc to a separate track in pro tools for each track of the mpc ?

@chanaez It's a Yamaha MG124CX. Just a regular mixing board that I run all my gears to. I'm recording it two tracks at a time. In the MPC, I track mute all of the tracks except for the one I'm recording in song mode. Sending one track out left and the other right. Using a MIDI hookup, out from Pro Tools to the MPC to sync it. That's it. Hope that helps. Search around in youtube if you need a visual. It's fairly simple. Hope that helps.

but how do you get audio instead of midi signal in pro tools ?

@chanaez You're not recording MIDI. MIDI is used to sync up with Pro Tools. Basically, I use the MIDI cable coming out of Pro Tools into the MPC. In Pro Tools When I hit play, Pro Tools also send out a signal to the MPC via MIDI to tell it to play and that's how I sync it up. From there you just track out your audio tracks on the MP to Pro Tools.
