i need some help! my pickup switch for my ESP ec 50 broke i ordered a replacement..its a les paul tye guitar..2 humbuckers 3 way toggle switch..im just a lil coonfised.the old broken switch is like the one mentioned here in the video but ive got an import box type toggle with 3 prongs and a ggroun and the cavity in my guitar has 3 wires coming out red, black and green..i need help on wiring it to the 3 prong toggle switch and how do i ground it?
i installed 3-way occupancy sensor switches in my stairway and they don't work.
they turn on when they want, and stay on. some times they shut off, sometimes they stay on for hours and hours. the first switch in the line does not work, but the second switch works. but the lights stay on. can you please help?
Hey Nice video I have a question, I just got a three way gold toggle switch, but it has one connector on the side that goes to the jack and four on the other side that go to the volume and tone controls, I took out the stock switchcraft switch and put in the new one and now the guitar only buzzes when i touch the switchand the volume doesnt work...you know what the problem could be?
I will be getting some new CTS 500k pots with some of this braided wire in the next few days. I'm going to be wiring the switch up just like this, 50's style. It's going in my Gibson LP Traditional w/ 57 classics. Wish me luck. P.S Thanks for video gives me a better idea of how I'm going to go about it.
Does it matter if the braided wires are touching again further down the line? It wont create any grounding issues or anything?

I wired all of the wires. But I do not remember the orientation of which way the wires on the switch face in the guitar.

So how do you then wire it up to the Jack? what do you solder the ground lug on the jack to?

Oh. One question. About shrink tubing, I may do this also. Would you recommend any specific shrink tube? Thanks!
