  • Can you get feed back form the MOSFET ?

  • when I pull the knob out the light doesn't turn on.. I couldn't seem to get this tone out... Neednhelp.

  • Haha, that does sound close.

  • He looks and sounds like jake from two and a half men

  • 3:28

  • the kids' got skills.

  • hi jeremey

  • whats the setting for the back in black tone like middle-5 treble-6 or what ever i love the sound :) great vid aswell

  • Marshall MOSFET LEAD 100 facebook fanpage just type marshall mosfet lead 100 in facebook!!!

  • Hello young man this was a great demo all haters aside ,thks to you I have purchased this head as have many people Im sure ,I am using your vids as a tutorial on how to use the amp can you tell me if you have found the pdf instruction manual for this anywhere online thks again good job and great playing style.

  • very good presentation .. I could help telling the complete equalization of the amplifier, and I want to take full advantage of my MARSHALL LEAD 100 MOSFET that I have ... Thanks and good luck!

  • Yo Jeremy, you talked for a solid 3 mins, no one looking at this gives a fuck what you have to say. Get to the goddamn point, play, let us hear the tones, and shut the hell up.

  • @bigbenstxchevy Unlike what you had to say here, which is SO important. People like you take the overall legitimacy of the internet as a community down several notches. I happen to have been interested in what he had to say.

  • u look like the kid from two and a half men!!!!!

  • Nice video ! :D Could you write all the settings needed for the AC/DC tone that u explain in the video please ? caus i'm a bit lost .. xD

    thanks ;)

  • Can I ask, I'm thinking of buying the MOSFET head and I don't know a lot about stacks and heads and cabs etc: I was wondering, are you able to just play with the head or do I need a cabinet to play? Please reply!! :)

Dude you look like the kid from Two and a Half Men xD

  • MUY BUEN AMPLI CHEP!

  • thanks for the video man! btw about the guitar. will gibson sg standard plus angus young humbuckers (which they sell on gibson.com) be okay? how bout the 57 classics and seymour duncan pearly gates? is he using the sd now and putting covers on them, coz in sg website, there is no pickup cover.. thanks a lot bro

  • jake harper !?

  • school ov rock

  • omfg its so lucky im getting this amp and was looking for a acdc tone , man i love u!!! :P

  • hahah HEY its Jake from Two and a Half Men!

  • I dont know why but everybody on youtube who trys angus' tone always uses a huge amount of gain which sounds terrible

  • Comment removed

  • i can make a sound liek that on my kustom 100hd quad

  • bought my first marshall amp at that period, it was between the mosfet and jcm800, pretty cool tones from that mosfet though

  • Sounds brighter and has more bite than the Marshall Haze 15...but then again that comes witha 1x12 cab while you are using a 4x12 cab, I guess the Haze would sound simular if it was played through a 4x12

  • mine is not that black and the fiber cover where the marshall is at its like a brown

  • @Xdawg9087 yes, i'm not sure what year they did each color but i know the brown cloth was an option. i don't think there were any differences in wiring though.

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic Oh I got rid of that amp. It was a cool little amp. But now i have a peavey supreme head and mesa boogie dual rectifier and a peavy cab

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic I have a lead 100 mosfet stack and the head had a cover but the cab did´nt så the cab have a beige/light grey grill textile now while the head is intac, so i don´t think there was a brown version

  • Where did you find your research on the 3210 can you post the link or article?

  • you could write the settings of the amp?

    please

I need the settings and I don't speak english

    thanks

  • Looks and sounds like Jake from 2 and a half Men

  • @Panek911 lol,he really does

  • @Panek911 Exactly what I thought.

  • really hated my MOSFET head! shit!

  • hi posted my thanks on your last vid.thanx to you my son now has one, and wow.Me Dad has a Traynor YBA-1 1966 all mine since I was 15 .So smooth and creamy but ripp your shirt off when cranked.Lead Mosfet 100 perfect match with a tube amp for a complete guitar rig.Traynor was cheap at one time to nobody respected them ethier. You play great you know tone, great ears . More vids. of your gutiar playing please

  • thats a bang on acdc tone!!!!

  • So, after seeing this demo, I'm definatly buying it for low-gain tones when I get the money.

  • Tube and solidstate amps both have their pros.

What I do not like is all of this modern processor crap that is being incorporated into modern amps.

Best sounds are acheived with straight forward gear.

Look at a jtm45 or fender twin schematic then look at a modern amp schematic.

You will see what I mean!

  • Needs more bottom end .

  • first off, i just got this head off craigslist and it kicks ass! Random question but i have a faded sg and i was wondering how you got the Shiny gibson logo on the head stock? it looks sick! thanks

  • @brbsilent1 hey, congrats! i love this amp sooo much! even sometimes a littlle more than my JCM 900! anyway, i just had a little silver gibson decal that i stuck on there. i've taken it off since, but i just thought it was kinda neat when it was shiny :D

  • wow the son of Alan from two and a half men!!!! hahah lolololol

  • this and the fender eighty five are the best solid state amps of all time IMO

  • i was able to get this tone for about 40 bucks

    check my videos

  • Really nice for being a solid state amp.

  • wow, you really look like jake from two and a half men!

  • cool vid i think you talked me into getting this amp,i can't take my tube amp on tour

  • Gibson??

  • Thank you for this post. I bought 1. SO! Now, come over and laugh at some of my drumming.

  • you sure know how to spank da guitar

  • Nice tone man, I might look into getting one of these! My friend has a JVM which sounds sweet but I can't really afford one of them. :p

  • If it was a really good Amp, you would talk so much.

  • Hey. Nice tone and nice playing. I'm thinking of buying that head, but I have a guestion about your guitar. That looks like an sg special, but have you changed the pickups? I have a sg special with (i think) 490 pickups. I've thought about changin them, but I'm not sure if it's necessary. If you changed the pups, did it make a fifference?

  • @villehalo thank you for your comment and i wish you luck on your purchase!! this is a gibson sg special faded, all i've done is put pickup covers on the pickups, and since this video was made i've added a lyre vibrola to it. if you do have an sg that you would like to swap out pickups, i would suggest gibson 57 classics, or seymour duncan pearly gates (what angus uses)

  • that was pretty good tone, how much was the amp?

  • @nothingbutrock666 i bought the head for 200. amazing, isn't it? its such a good deal! i've seen them for as low as 120 on ebay

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic where di you get your for 200, is ebay safe?

  • he is in 2 1/2 half men

  • @MaSonLOaF4 Niiice

  • dude you talk too much!!! we want to listen to the amp not your stories... at least add in your description "proceed to xx.xx for tone". Great tone by the way. Have you compared this amp with the mg series?

  • @mariosapm this is better than the MG. I just got mine for $150. I hate the Mg. It sucks I got 2 MG cabs for $200. and I hate THEM!!! Now, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! let the boy tell his stories. He's already watering your mail.

  • Sorry dude, I have to agree. Maybe practice, even write down a BRIEF summary of what needs to be said, then let loose and let the amp do the talking for you. BTW, you play very well, and I own and am a fan of this amp head. One of the markets best kept secrets imho.

  • @TadpoleSpook lol, thank you, i'll try that next time. in fact, there's still some more i want to cover with this amp, and i'm thinking about doing a part 3. i really appreciate all of the wonderful feedback, and i can't be more happy that this amp is finally receiving the attention it deserves! :D

  • Is that the kid off two and a half men!!? :o

  • @Guitar4sanity Thats what i was thinking too!!

  • Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar is a triple vinyl album featuring live material recorded by Frank Zappa between February 1977 and December 1980

  • @orlandoontiveros HAHAHAHAHA

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic That was just bothering you a little bit... Truth is, your review was very helpful in my decision of buying a new Marshall... Thanks . Keep on rocking !

  • JESUS CRIST JUST PLAY THE DAMN GUITAR AND STOP TALKING

  • @000TheGingerOne000 lol, sorry, i can take blame for that. i tend to talk...A LOT when i'm telling people about this amp. there's just SO MUCH to fit in! i'll keep you in mind when i do the next one though. :)

  • this is amazing! you are right though, it is more of an album sound.

  • gain down mids up

  • i cant believe you got this tone out of a solid state

  • Very nice...we appreciate the real mic

  • hey, very kool video.

    have a question.

do u know anything about that mosfet Krank amp. (Krank sst)

    and what is your opinion

  • i know its very hard to achieve without a pedal, but is it possible that you make another video using this amp for metal? more like late 80s early 90s thrash sorta stuff?

  • does this have enough distortion for guns n roses and motley crue aerosmith zeppelin stone temple pilots pearl jamm

  • @Leadtheband96 yes, you should have no problem with any of those. and if you can't get enough gain on tap, an ibanez tubescreamer does the trick very well.

  • Sounds exellent, perfect ACDC tones...thanks for this...seems like effects pedals never quite get you the sharp sound your looking for..

  • Wow! You really nailed this AC/DC-Sound! Awsome combination between sound and feeling! I´d really like to see and hear more :-)

  • ok i have the amp. thnx for the highway 666 settings .now plz o plz can i have the back in black settings and my life will be complete

  • I own one of tjis heads but ive not figured out how to run the both channels at the same time..

When you were doing Zeppelin and metallica sounds in your previous Demo, did you use both channes or just the boost?

  • @93SunDqVisT in order to use both channels, unplug the footswitch from the head, and turn up both volumes for each channel. you may have to adjust the volumes of each to get an even mix. as for the demo video i did, no, i didn't use that feature at all.

  • Great demo and review man. It's good to hear someone who knows what they're talking about for a change! 5*

  • hello, i saw thath there are two colours of this amp

1 black and 1 light brown

are there any differents between those amps or is just the colour?

  • is this loud enough to gig with

  • @Leadtheband96 PLENTY. i had the master volume on 1 the whole time cuz i couldn't have it stand it any louder. it is a very LOUD amp.

  • hey can i have the amp settings for the highway to hell

  • @JCBkingg the bass is all the way up, i had the treble and mid volumes both at 7. it was on the boost channel i think with the gain knob pushed in. i think that's what it was.

  • @newBUCKETHEADcover

alright thnx to know. also you are very good rock on. would that amp sound good on the MG cab cuz im poor and i am getting a better cab for Christmas but for now do u think it would be good for a mg cab

  • @JCBkingg i'm not sure how good of quality the speakers in the mg cab would be, but if you can afford it, you might want to try the marshall 1936 2X12 cabs. they're about 500, and a bit smaller, but you wont have the pains of lugging a massive cabintet around!

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic ya im only getting the MG cab so i have one. but for Christmas im getting the cab you have or a 1960 A or that is what u have lol

  • whats the amp settings for like highway to hell

  • should i get this or a marshall avt 150

  • @JCBkingg depends on what you play. this one will give you great rock tone, but if you're looking for something more versitile, you might want to try the 150 first.

  • how much are these worth , im selling mine one ebay its a 1987 one of these in mint condition!!!

  • Do you think this amp is suitable to get a Tool/deftones/system of a down/ qotsa genres of overdrive?

  • Do you think this amp is a good choise to play Tool/deftones/soad kind of music?

  • angus uses a 1959 plexi sl

  • holy shit highway to hell and you shook me all night long is like dead on!!!!!!!

  • I love this amp!

I have had my mosfet for about one week and I'm in love with it!!!!

also thanks for posting this video! this helped me chose differnt tones.

  • theyve got one on ebay for $320. but i think im giong to buy some sort of line 6 amp

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar omfg 320... :O

  • @BelieveIntheBucket im getting a Marshall 100HDFX stack soon

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar good for you! the mg's will be a little more versitile than this one, but i think in the long run, the mosfet has REALLY GOOD TONE.

  • @JeremyJacobsmusic id get the mosfet but a local guy on creigslist is selling the Marshall MG Series 100HDFX stack and throwing in the warranty and footswtich and a dunlop cry baby from hell for only $275!

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar WOW! that's a deal! go for it dude!

  • @Goji1210 ummm, thanks? that isn't really what i was expecting, but thats cool, i guess.
