Start a business? You joking? That's gambling. Not as easy as it looks. My parents have a home business and it's not profitable. It rarely is, and you often won't see profit in 1-2 yrs.
It's not like these people complain for the sake of itself. Most of them are trying to leave if possible. It is not a good place to be.
