great video! my mother and father are italian and I always used to remember my mum tasting the pasta for doness the same way. she picked it up like having asbestos hands lol
thank you for this recipe even if its an old video.
Napoli is the birthplace of so many dishes we think of as Italian: pizza, parmesan cheese, tomato ragu, spaghetti, lasagna, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce.
Ragù is made in other italian cities too, such as Bologna, and that one is one of the most known in the world
Lasagna, or at least an ancient version of that, is in Italy since the times of Etrurians and Romans, and was common in XII & XIII centuries in italian peninsula
I won't talk about the pizza since its history is too long for a youtube comment.
Oh and spaghetti are from China, but used all over Italy.
For all Romans: I adapt my recipes to cater for international audiences with a Napolitan twist. You will pardon some lack of authenticity but it is all meant to allow any user to reproduce my recipies everywhere in the world. However, debates are always welcome! Grazie
I eat it a lot myself too, we have an Italian restaurant, ate it 1000's of times and it never bores me...in fact i'd like some now and it's almost 2 in the morning lol...oh well, will have some tomorrow then :-)
Boy that is so simple, we all tend to overcomplicate Itallian recipes. I looked real good and tasty as well.
thanks

@sunpowernatural that's wrong.
Parmesan is the name of Grana from Parma-Reggio.

the original recipe is bland...probably why people eat it in a different way
