I know a lot of people are crying about Toronto being too low, but they are right. Especially now, Toronto has more buildings in construction than any city in the U.S.

for me it's a toss up between Chicago and Toronto. It's one those places that when I'm in Toronto, I just love Toronto, and when I'm in Chicago, it's my dream home.
That photo of the LA skyline with the mountains in the background is very nice, but that is a view one can only see in a photograph. It is a photographic anomaly. To the naked eye the mountains look nowhere near that close to the city.
The skyline of Pittsburgh, Pa. is ok, but it is very small comparitively. The skyline of Atlanta, Ga. most certainly should be included as one of the 10 best.
glad to see dahntahn made ur list, be it at nr9, i dunno if you can say NYC is nr1 though it may be the biggest but does that make it better i dunno, i know when you pop outa the fort pitt tunnel at night and you see that gem on the point, aint no place like home but maybe im biased
Other honorable mentions should be Minneapolis (much better skyline than Austin, S.A. or New Orleans) and San Diego (especially when viewed from North Island Naval Air Station at night).
The Pittsburgh skyline really is beautiful in person. We went up this mountain side in this incline thing to the top where there was this overlook. Man it was absolutely stunning. We took lots of pictures.
@mischiefdisco13 Chicago is a great city, i just went there. It's clean and the buildings are big. But i think midtown Manhatten has more buildings than Chicago not even counting downtown and there's a lot of new buildings going up in NYC. But who cares about comparing. Both great cities that everyone should visit at least once. I also liked Seattle a lot.
I cant help but notice Toronto is also outpacing other cities in terms of their locals posting pro-Toronto commentary whenever they feel like everyone's in North America has forgotten them. Toronto per inhabitant = 4th most visited city after MTL, Vancouver, Quebec city (barring business\family-gatherings)

Why isn't Panama city in this video, it's one of the best skylines in the wold and it's also in North America. How come you yankees only include Canada and the United States in North America.
The skyline criteria are interesting. I know it's all arbitrary, but height and cleanliness seem a bit odd. A town with more recent, plain glass structures ranks higher according to that. I, personally, think it's the history & the mixture that are interesting, moreso than height. Old buildings might not be as clean, but they often include more design than newer ones. And backdrops for skylines help frame cities too - like mountains in Seattle, Vancouver BC, Salt Lake City, Denver, etc..
I've lived in numerous major cities in the USA. My favorite city is New York City, but I must admit Chicago is the most beautiful skyline in the country. Of course, New York's skyline is pretty. 1)Chicago, NYC,Wash D.C.,if you want to count as skyline, no disrespect to D.C,beautiful city, Seattle from Elliot Bay,Dallas, SF,Pittsburgh, Houston, LA, Charlotte, Boston, Miami, Philadelphia.
That is a horrible list. LA, Houston, and Dallas should not be on there. You are missing San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, and even Atlanta. Shoots, Austin's skyline is 10 times better than LA's, Houston's, or Dallas's. You obviously do not know what you are talking about.
Denver's skyline is composed of boxes, open you're eyes.
Your a horrible thinker. LA and Houston should stay. Fuck off... Austin is better?
HA! Jerk. Los Angeles is the biggest city on earth and it continues to spread out.
I can tell your a 10 year-old thinker. Go research. Los Angeles is like Tokyo. It's skyline spreads THROUGHOUT the WHOLE city, not like Chicago which spreads only ONE part. Even LA's airport has it's OWN skyline. LA is the city with the MOST skylines in America. As for Houston, it's 2nd. It's just another LA.
What do you mean by biggest? Are you referring to the term literally or like the retarded faggot you come off to be? I believe you are the faggot I portray you as, seeing as Anchorage is the "biggest" city in the USA. As far as the "largest" metropolitan area New York claims it. If you are counting city limits than New York would also take that spot. There is a reason LA's skyline sucks for a city its size... Earth quakes. The skyline spreads throughout the WHOLE CITY? Sprawl is awesome.
i wonder if you have any idea how much that 'f' word hurts to gay people all over the world. I agree with what billk700 said 'could you walk a mile in a gay mans shoes?' Except Miami will be ignored if we have a next boom.
Even the biggest city in the world, Los Angeles, still continues to grow out, and build more entertainment to become famous and have benefit.
Miami's future? Miami is one of the poorest major cities in America. The future goes to the rich people.
Even LA is already more attractive.
It's more recognizable, tall, and full of gangster-style lights.
The skyline's ratings are all fake. Height and Large isn't anything. Lights and colors are.
