Sir, you appear to have misunderstood the meaning of the word "minimum".
A minimum standard of healthcare does not necessarily mean that the care is bad, it just means everyone should have access to at least that standard of care, as opposed to the US system where many people have no care at all.
Our system could be better, it's true. Nobody denies it has its problems - but at least everyone can get access to it, rich or poor, and nobody goes bankrupt just because they happen to get ill.
