@TheDoubleanne Hmmm.... I thought I was clear that the interpretation of Epictetus was from Sharon Lebell. Regardless, I think both points you brought up were trivial matters of academics. Did you have any specific arguments against any thoughts contained in the video, or just nitpicking to distinguish yourself as intelligent and scholarly?
though I have to say that I enjoy philosophy and Greece mythology and I do think that our kids should be taught both. My question is What is Truth? Is there an absolute Truth? Where do we find that truth?
Ah, would that school children were still introduced to Greece! Such is the perversion and poverty of our culture that Greece is hidden until one can uncover it one's self, years after it should have been familiar.
