  • mr will lee is amazing

  • Yeah, that's Charlie Drayton on drums. Charlie used to sub for Steve Jordan when Steve Jordan was the drummer for the Dave Lettermen band in the 1980s.

  • Louis Johnson on bass. Harvey Mason on drums on the original recording. Has Paul Schaefer always been bald? Nice guy though. Ran into him at the Harvey school recently. Very laid back.

  • I love this music! Earl is amazing.

  • @elcaifo yes he is !

  • @hotfunkcooljazz I agree....He could just say more while he's in there.

  • @998SBayliss this tune is spotlights earl not the drums.

  • The drummer might as well be a drum machine. Why do most current drummers play only with a whack (no nuance) on the snare? That would be like Earl playing through a Mesa Triple Rectifier with no dynamics just a lot of distortion.

  • @998SBayliss charley's got a pocket !

  • @998SBayliss - he's just some schlep who was ONLY good enough to land a gig with Earl Klugh and play on Letterman and he can't get those good gigs like you. Maybe he was playing the part that fit the music and not playing :HEY LOOK AT ME ON THIS SNARE, I'M AMAZING". Everyone loves harsh words from the peanut gallery and are amazed by your observations and greatness.

  • @tonyober AMEN !

  • Never heard or seen this one from Earl, but like always IT IS ANOTHER GREAT SONG AND PLAYED WITH LOVE AND ENJOYMENT!!!

  • You very rare play this song one night alone w/ you but I've to say on this play Thumbs up!! Thanks.

  • look like every body having fun

  • @keenanandrosa This has always been one of my favorites in my collection !

  • oh man that is awsome

  • @keenanandrosa-------- Shur ya Right !!!

  • Is that Charley Drayton on the drums? He must've been born with that jazz that Earl Klugh has!

  • Earl Klugh is amazing

  • I adore this tune so much I admire Earl's talent on the guitar back in the day and he remains the same today just awesome. Thanks for posting.
