My cousin and I used to tool around in his 48 Plymouth during high school years. We graduated in '69 and everybody thought he had an old car back then! The lines were similar to this 48 and your interior shots brought back a flood of memories. Thanks for the post.
@AnotherBroMark thank you for the excellent comment. my first cat was a vw fox, at the time I thought it was the vest thing in the world. now i look back to omly 1997-98 and say maybe it was. cheers
That's sad. My father does not understand classic cars like this. He is all about appearance and power with a new light body. I personally am about classic muscle and classic cars in general!
@1963impala2dr Yea, there is some confusion there. When I asked the owner he said it is a statesman. He has a restored one he showed me but the lighting was too bad to film. When I googled it also came up with info about being a Holden large bodied car? If you know more please share. I love learning about automotive history.
@Artarous I googled it too.. and got the same holden story..but that was later years.. that old car is a fleetmaster.. :) the statesman was made by Nash.. that I "do" know..haha..
@1963impala2dr Good to know. I am going back to the owner to take some shots of his retored baby. Should I change the name in the title to Fleetmaster?
@Artarous its your clip but I'd maybe ask the owner if he meant fleetmaster.. dunno.. its no big deal :) thanks for posting the old car tho.. really nice
