@Kellystarrr well obviously most veiwers are not going to know that so your going to think he wanted to fight it, and i didn't say he wanted to fight it i was just saying that billy wanted a fair fight when the time came, billy knew they were all going to die because he had a 6th sense and the bit where he cuts his chest i assumed that was to mark himself to show the predator he was a warrior since ive seen it in similar films plus of the fact he's a native american so it wasn't clear to me

@s14man True, but reading into the Predator's history you can learn that they are a honorable species and would engage him in melle combat. Perhaps he had that sence of honor too, however unmatched he perhaps thought that it would be more honorable to fight hand to hand rather than shoot at him alot and miss.

Apparently he had to have a body guard with him at all times during the set so he wouldnt get into any fights--True fact, but luckily the cast was so awesome he got along with them.

@thedarknesscallingme yeah its completely true. the insurance company demanded that he have a bodyguard for that reason. said so on the dvd commentary. He was some huge 6 foot 6 guy. But they also said he got on well with the cast/crew and had no dramas.

i watched a documentary about the making of the film and it said that when Landham arrived his had a few bodyguards with him...not to protect him but to protect others FROM him. at first i thought it was a joke but apparently he can get quite violent.
