She's so much more expressive and beautiful than most singers today. It also takes so much more talent.

La aussi, scéniquement, c'est nul et hideux, çà ne ressemble à rien, c'est malheureux pour les chanteursq d'etre obligés d'accepter ça .

Did you know if in this production the shepherd Andreloux is sung by a boy or by a woman?
It are children choirs sung by children?

Andreloux is sung by a woman called Collete Alliot-Lugaz and there is no childrens

The music is great and she sings well but I feel no emotion whatsoever.

You are totally right : clean, nice but not what we except for Gounod and especially with Mireille, the most mediterranean rôle in French opera.
