You must be trying to impress a girlfriend? I didn't use more than 20 ft lbs (0-100 ft lb range) to loosen that barrel nut. Again, tell it to your H.S. shop teacher if you want to sound impressive.
Hey, just trying to keep you from ruining your $20 torque wrench. Just for kicks why don't you take it and have it tested to see how far off it is now that you have been using it as a breaker bar?? Why bother using a torque wrench at all if you're not going to use it properly?
Congratulations you just ruined your torque wrench.....you should only use a torque wrench for torquing fasteners. A breaker bar is the proper tool for removing fasteners.
Im looking into buying a Stevens 200 for the model 10 action with the ability to switch cailbers. Were you saying this was a model 12 action from midway? If so do you have a preference on the 12 over the 10? That was a great video and clearly explained the process. Thanks
Regarding how does it shoot. On 15 July 2011, it won the F/TR competition at the Quantico Shooting Club Regional Championship. Match 1 192-3X, Match 2 191-5X (1,000 yds).
Who made your scope rail? It's a shame that it overhangs the barrel nut... Have you considered chopping the last 3/4" off and moving your rings back a notch?
With Lapua brass, 44gr Varget and 155gr Bergers, it's a true 1/4 MOA rifle. The action block from Midway. They're available from many sources. Wheeler is ubiquitous.
