Yes. It's true. You can also search for a video on youtube where Ruby is lead by a news camera and he shouts at the camera that LBJ is the man behind it all.

Ruby directly asked Justice Warren to be moved to Washington to testify. He said that his life was in danger in Dallas. His request was noted and then rejected.

I actually read the book crossfire and the author actually claims it was texas oil millionares who killed Kennedy.The theories in the film,(and obviously the storyline) come mainly from Jim Garrisons book.

The SS man who ran and jumped on the car was disobeying orders from Emory Roberts to stay away.And if that guy could run up to the car it had to be going under 15mph for him to be able to do that.

I feel sorry for you, I really do. If Oswald wasn't the shooter how do you explain the fact that he was the only worker missing from the Book Depository building just moments after the shooting. If Oswald was innocent why then when he was arrested at the theater would he jump up out of his seat and yell "This is it!" before punching one of the arresting officers. Conspiracy Theories are the products of wild imagination and not on facts.

Stone isn't the only one who thinks that SOME INDIVIDUALS from the groups were involved in the assassination (except the DMV, I guess that was an attempt at being cute on your part). Some of those involved from these groups were involved after the fact with a cover-up, not with the actual planning and carrying out of the assassination.

Actually in the film Oswald is shown meeting with people who were involved. He is speculated to either have known about and possibly told to take part in the assassination or to inform on the people who were involved. It seems like critics of the film have never really watched it very carefully.

Oswald was shown to be involved, but Stone's portrayal of him was very sypathetic, and sometimes very inaccurate. At every turn Oswald was shown to be a naive patsy at the mercy of people and events he couldn't control.

I dont agree with stone about the mafia,it is a fact that the CIA and mafia worked together. James FIles who claims to be the grassy knoll shooter was a mafia hitman and named rosselli and nicoletti as shooters in the dal tex building.

In Stone's movie he has Garrison saying,"I don't doubt their [the Mob's] involvement...but at a lower level." That's what Garrison believed and that's what Stone believes. It's ridiculous to think that the Mob alone pulled off the assassination. I also find it hard to believe Files' wild story about gangsters acting as snipers, shooting from roof tops.

i belive this movie ia very illuminateing but still its a theroy, we still need to examin all the evidence from all the angles offerd to us. I dont know if this is truth, or fiction but i will say its illumenateing and because of it i too will examin all evidence from all the possibbble angles

I thought JFK was a great drama but I think Oliver Stones twisted a lot of the facts for dramatization purposes and to fit a conspiracy. Read the books "False Witness: The Real Story of Jim Garrison's Investigation and Oliver Stone's Film JFK" and "Reclaiming History: The Assassination of JFK". Both books attack Oliver Stone and this movie very convincingly.

Stone is an awesome muvie director since midnight express through U turn. What I am saying is dont think this is a documentary. Thats why he made a movie. A movie is exciting and a cliffhanger. Real life is not sexy. It hurts and destroys life and they answer is dry

I agree that people shouldn't view this like they would a documentary. Stone himself has said repeatedly that it's not and shouldn't be taken that way. The bad thing is that now a days in high school history classes teachers show movies and present them as fact. This movie is flawed but I think about 85% to 90% of it is accurate. People shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water though.

Costner's character says, "let's just for a moment speculate shall we". This establishes that what follows is SPECULATION. Stone says in the commentary "I don't know". This scenario isn't completely from him, this has been the speculation of other researchers that it could have happened this way.
