  • this piano are really expensive. i think is a copy ...

  • The piano actually belonged to Wagner's great grandfather. The one that had a pinky missing on his left hand, or was it his right. It was either his right or his left. It was certainly one of his pinkies though some people say it was a thumb. He was supposed to have invented jazz music, and enjoyed highland dancing.

  • lol at ending

  • You're using the laptop to 'page turn' the score for you while playing right?

  • theres a laptop..

    uh..

    äää...

    wtf? :D

    but u play good :]

  • Even if it's not Wagner's ... It's still incredibly beautiful. I wanted to buy a pleyel piano that belonged to CHOPIN,. ... but they wanted 355,000 dlls for it.

  • @WildStarvingWolf Chopin's piano is an artifact and a piece of history, there is no price tag for such a piano. Even if you payed millions.

  • This isn't Wagner's piano. I have played Wagner's piano; this isn't it.

  • that piano is blinging

  • ugh ur too amazing.

    DON'T DENY IT!!

  • Amazing, you own this piece!

  • nice playing. I guess you listen to the horowitz version alot?

  • is this the scriabin you played in 2008 for tcya?

  • yes

  • HAHAHA stephen at the end..

    gonna miss you danny :[

  • This piano is one of many produced,of the

'Richard Wagner' model, by the german firm Ibach. Are you saying that this particular one is the original propery of Wagner?

  • nicely played

  • I cant beleiev ths piano can be played.Your playing was interesting different ideas thasn almost everyone .Your basses gave it a differ feeling as well as your rght hand chords n places.Original and I think it's valid .Really thick sounding . Makes one wonder about the music amd makes it seem capable of more than we thought.I might change too.

  • The last time this thing was tuned was probably before I was born. The A#s in the opening chords are almost halfway to A natural. It's a hard piece though. I've heard that playing it makes you feel omipotent.

  • Interesting version... more held back than the other videos, but still sounds good.

However, expectations of others may be different.

  • ehh....it was okay...

Try cleaning up your phrases, they seem to run together. Well, either that or too much legato.

  • What a beautiful performance!!

  • I like this version much more than for example Boris Berezovsky's :)

  • this is truly amazing piece of work

  • How did you get the opportunity to play Richard Wagner's piano? That's crazy man! I has lucky enough to play one of Beethoven's piano's in Heiligenstadt but only for a few seconds and I probably could have been thrown in the Vienna pokie but I couldn't resist!

  • I know! someone dominated to our school. so lucky

  • This piano is really great.

  • yuhhh dannyy!!

  • Absolutly dramatic, best I heard for years (I am 65)

  • have you heard Alexander Gavrylyuk's? search for him...

  • ehhhhh. he's ok. i mean i've heard some better performances in my opinion, such as horiwitz's and van cliburn's. they are all great

  • Hey! You're so great on the piano, I'm so jealous :p I've been playing for AGES but I can't seem to do it T^T

  • You're right about the Opus and the number.

Great playing and a very nice Piano!

  • danny, that is amazing! i didnt know you were so good at piano.
