Black isn't my kind of music, but Anaal Nathrakh is soo awesome:O Imho their music has the best atmosphere among metal bands. Just can't wait for next album:)
Anaal Nathrakh isnt that Black either but is one of the best bands around today. No point trying to convince people Black Metal is the best cos only people who understand it can realise that anyway... you have to get there on your own, period
First one was completely black metal and the second one was black/grind. Before calling someone a stupid fuck it is highly advised that you make sure you aren't one yourself.

KoK are shit, and in my eyes they shouldn't be playing metalfest. But everyone is entitled to an opinion. Anaal on the other hand are great, even with their grindcore and industrial bits thrown in.
The first band is BM sounds like nothing I've heard. "go to war for your kingdom" sounds like a Christian statement. Anaal Nathrakh on the other hand was great during that time. They seem to have incorporated "grind core" into their music after Domine Non Es Dignus, which has sent them plummeting artistically in my books.
Yes but this has nothing to do with the Vengeance Rising from the US. This is the song vengeance rising by the Norwegian Black Metal band Keep Of Kalessin... ^^
Well, I think they could play almost everything but some parts. Limbonic Art and Anaal do have some of the hardest drum machine parts, I concede as much.
Steve Powell of Theoktony plays live drums for Anaal Nathrakh. Danny Herrera from Napalm Death and Nick Barker from too many fucking bands played before him. All 3 of them can play that. Other drummers that could play that Derek Roddy, George Kollias, Tim Yeung, Vegard Larsen (Vyl), Inferno, Frost, Trym Torson, Dirge Rep, John Longstreth, Romain Goulon, Carl-Michael Eide (before accident), Kai Hahto (ex-Rotten Sound, Wintersun), Flo Mounier, Francois Mongrain, etc etc. Off the top of my head.
yey Black Metal Rules!!!!!......Kok and Anaal Nathrakh arr.....need to add Immortal/Satyricon/Watian/1349/Burzum/Emperor to what makes black metal great......
I like anaal nathrahk but i have two main problems with black metal.
1. Often they seem more concerned with their hair, wardrobe and nails than with the music they are playing.
2. They tend to sing about nonsense a lot. Soul eating decrepitude ascendancy bull satan shit, etc.

I think that BN meant that black metal isn't just underground. He said that he maybe made another one in the future.

Yes I know.
But they can't play everything live. that's understandable.
i think that Domine and When fire would be the hardest albums to play tbh.
Batnobbit 4 years ago
Probably... actually I think a lot more people are able to pull it off. but meh. Doesn't really matter now does it?

Second Thougth, Nicholas Barker played some stuff from Codex Necro.
Batnobbit 4 years ago
frost could probably play it :O
Achmena 4 years ago
