  • @SocialVirus92 If I were in a room with you right now, I would shake your hand. That comment and those bands are spot-on amazing.

  • @ryanscott1980

    ..wherefore art thou, Elvis =P

  • @meshipeace11 touche :)

  • Man man they are getting better and better every time I hear a new song, going to buy Sink or Swim and then this one. It's awesome

  • Their EP is perfection.

  • saw them on Sunday - they were amazing live!

  • Walking in my own skin, what great lyrics!!

  • I love Gaslight Anthem! Only if they could have more popularity. :/ I'm kind of glad they don't, though. I don't want them to sell out like every other fucking band does when they get popular.

  • gaslight anthem > bruce springsteen

  • @VomitPixieDust the gaslight anthem = Bruce Springsteen

  • i need this ep now

  • ba ba ba da da da da <--- amazing. this whole song is beautiful. and so understanding.

  • The best part is leading up to the chorus, with the backing vocal coming in...

  • Two dislikes? Are those two people satan and his evil twin? This is heaven, this is gold, this is the modern incarnation of classic brilliance with an unprecedented edge. This is the fracking GASLIGHT ANTHEM!

  • I could actually listen to this song over and over again. A local rock station plays quite a lot of their stuff which is where I first heard them a couple of years ago. Such a shame more people my age don't recognise musical genius like this.

  • GASLIGHT ANTHEMS COMING TO COLORADO!! I really need to go!!! love this band

  • I still can't get enough of this band! Love their lyrics, both the references to classic songs and how at the same time they can be really vivid and real. Can't -wait- to hear new stuff from them, certainly my favorite band from this century so far ^^

  • I can't get enough of this band!!!!!!! I can't wait to see them. They are so amazing and talented, and where can I find more interviews of Alex Rosamilia :)

  • I may sound like im going totally out of the way here but... is the "and a pain in my fist" any reference to the lawrence arms (quincentuple your money) ? only I know brian fallon loves 'em and it sounds fitting, same rhythm etc.

  • @acidmaniac POSITIVELY!

  • These guys music is so real, I actually bought their CD because I want to support them as much as possible even though they never get radio play....I usually download music for free but these guys are just too good to download

  • @bLitz72 i wonder if someone would play them if i requested on radio... ? i actually heard them on once! but only once ^^

  • @bLitz72 i totally stopped downloading music cuas the quality is shit, i bought this cd after hearing an interview from their recent tour where they said they doid not own a house or a car and were still with side one dummy and that they might not ever leave their label. so I went bought the cd.

  • i know i was joking :) x

  • is this the killers??

  • @connorhowieson shut up no. it's something much better

  • hope their new album is gonna be just as good

  • @koooldude7 - thers no hoping about it...they haven'y done anything wrong yet!!

  • Yeah I heard American Slang from their new album its epic

  • sink or swim is definately their best album

  • possibly my favourite gaslight song

the combination of the syncopated rythyms, perfect lyrics, and brians voice makes this one of the greatest songs ever

  • what album is this from?

  • @xxsuperdboyxx its taken form the senor and the queen ep.

  • my favorite song of theirs. senor and queen is awesome too! man, i love this band!

  • Finally someone put this up. Thanks

  • No problem, this is one of their best songs

  • can u tell me some of there other good songs please? :)

  • do you get songs for free?

  • okay basically there first cd is freaking gold!

listen to "ida called you woody joe" " i coulda been a contender" "The 59' sound" "The Patient ferris wheel" and "were getting a divorce, you keep the diner"

listen to those for now, and get back to me

btw these are some of my personal favorites

    oh and "wooderson"

    :)

  • most of those songs are from their second cd "The 59' Sound". Their first cd is excellent as well which is entitled "Sink or Swim". They have an EP entitled "Senor and the Queen" which this song is on.

  • no there not

  • the 59 sound and the patient ferris wheel are from their second albumn

  • @dlwatso15 Señor and the queen is an amazing Ep. The '59 sound was kinda slow and really not their best, I love sink or swim as well. Especially "1930" that is easily one of my favourites by them along with "Wooderson" and "Angry Johnny And The Radio"

  • @dlwatso15 Only 2 of them were, but they're both great albums. Infact, I can listen to every Gaslight album and not have to skip any song.

  • @dlwatso15 Two of them are. "The '59 sound" (obviously) and "The Patient ferris wheel".

  • @Casettejongen Yes and the the other three are from Sink or Swim.

  • @dlwatso15 Patient Ferris Wheel is THE best song ever. XD

  • Other "good songs?" All their songs are good to be honest. Though my favorite album is the first one, "Sink or Swim."

  • @waticantgetausername

    1: Casanova, Baby!

2: I'da Called You Woody, Joe

    3: 1930

    4: Great Expectations

    5:The 59 Sound

  • @waticantgetausername i have their entire discography and i can honestly say that there is not one song that i won't listen all the way through. you can't go wrong with any of their songs. but check out high lonesome and great expectations.

  • @waticantgetausername All of "American slang."

  • @Aaronlm91 Right? I would love them to do an acoustic album
