@carlwinslow69 This band,Frank Turner,Hot Water Music,Against Me!,The Clash,Social D. gah,TOO MANY TO NAME! But yes,MUSIC IS OUT THERE! NEVER GIVE UP!
I love Gaslight Anthem! Only if they could have more popularity. :/ I'm kind of glad they don't, though. I don't want them to sell out like every other fucking band does when they get popular.
Two dislikes? Are those two people satan and his evil twin? This is heaven, this is gold, this is the modern incarnation of classic brilliance with an unprecedented edge. This is the fracking GASLIGHT ANTHEM!
I could actually listen to this song over and over again. A local rock station plays quite a lot of their stuff which is where I first heard them a couple of years ago. Such a shame more people my age don't recognise musical genius like this.
I still can't get enough of this band! Love their lyrics, both the references to classic songs and how at the same time they can be really vivid and real. Can't -wait- to hear new stuff from them, certainly my favorite band from this century so far ^^
I can't get enough of this band!!!!!!! I can't wait to see them. They are so amazing and talented, and where can I find more interviews of Alex Rosamilia :)
I may sound like im going totally out of the way here but... is the "and a pain in my fist" any reference to the lawrence arms (quincentuple your money) ? only I know brian fallon loves 'em and it sounds fitting, same rhythm etc.
These guys music is so real, I actually bought their CD because I want to support them as much as possible even though they never get radio play....I usually download music for free but these guys are just too good to download
@bLitz72 i totally stopped downloading music cuas the quality is shit, i bought this cd after hearing an interview from their recent tour where they said they doid not own a house or a car and were still with side one dummy and that they might not ever leave their label. so I went bought the cd.
listen to "ida called you woody joe" " i coulda been a contender" "The 59' sound" "The Patient ferris wheel" and "were getting a divorce, you keep the diner"
most of those songs are from their second cd "The 59' Sound". Their first cd is excellent as well which is entitled "Sink or Swim". They have an EP entitled "Senor and the Queen" which this song is on.
@dlwatso15 Señor and the queen is an amazing Ep. The '59 sound was kinda slow and really not their best, I love sink or swim as well. Especially "1930" that is easily one of my favourites by them along with "Wooderson" and "Angry Johnny And The Radio"
@waticantgetausername i have their entire discography and i can honestly say that there is not one song that i won't listen all the way through. you can't go wrong with any of their songs. but check out high lonesome and great expectations.
