Would it be possible to reduce the size of my nose with rhinoplasty even though it's caused by my sinuses? I can't breathe through my nose 9 months out of the year anyway, nothing will change that. Recovery following a rhinoplasty will be around two weeks.The final result of a rhinoplasty is not evident for 18-24 months following surgery. Swelling will be around 70% resolved after 3 months, and the remainder of the swelling will go down over time. It is important to take it easy during the first week, and limit activity. It is possible to perform the surgery without touching the turbinates. It would be best to wait two weeks before flying. If it is completely necessary, you may be able to fly after one week, but this may increase swelling and delay your healing time. Thank you for the question.

lol i heard some poeple saying local anasthetic is okay for this operation. that is so rare. even if your nose is anasthetisized you will still feel the severe pain of them fracturing your nose bones because local anasethtic doesn't work too well on bones. the pain would be so severe you would probably pass out anyways.
