In his book he talked about how Freddy and Fanny were poised to pop, how low interest rates and cheap credit of the Fed was making everyone overextended, driving real estate prices artificially high, and that it would all come down around 08 as a terrible burden on the economy. I admit that he wasn't the only one to say these things, anyone with an understanding of free market economics was, but at least give him him credit for being on the correct side of the argument.

I am a big supporter of Peter Schiff and made my donation. But I wish he would drop this "Head and shoulder top" talk. In my book, that is just technical analysis and I see no value in that. I love Peter Shciff but He says that things will be bad for years to come and unemployment will continue on the downtrend, and I agree. My issue is that he seems cold to the social impact of whats happening. People are running out of unemployment everday and they have no other means of income. Tent cities are going up in California. We don't have years. People will get desperate. Major soical colapse will prevail or people will ask for gov't. Time is to short to speak in terms of years....
He is telling the truth i understand that. At the same time there is another truth here. People will shortly get so desperate to the point that there will be cival unrest in certian parts of the country. People depend on the grid per say so much that they will do what is neccessary to feed themselves and their families. So when he speaks in terms of multiple years I just don't see things holding together under the current conditions and the growing severity.

The market is getting less free as power is centralized and the State grows.
A free market lacks regulation from a state, lacks taxation by a state, patents are nonexistent, State subsidies are absent.
You can't have problems when people like me and you participate in a market and let the consumer's demand regulate it.
If you are pessimistic enough to say NO to such an utopia, go ahead do it, but you err by saying a free market caused the crisis.

I am a big supporter of Peter Schiff and made my donation. But I wish he would drop this "Head and shoulder top" talk. In my book, that is just technical analysis and I see no value in that. I wish he would stick to his fundamental analysis of companies and the economy which is his strength. Anybody else with a similar view?

Ken LEWIS is the CEO of Bank of America who was bullied by the Treasury Dept. into buying Merril Lynch.
Ken LAY was the disgraced Enron CEO who faked his death back in 2006 to get out of having to serve his prison sentence.

I think that by asking for money me may be turning people off. He is right though, if he has no money to fund a campaign he probably won't win.
Personally I think he will lose. It would be nice to have what essentially amounts to a Ron Paul in the Senate, but in my eyes he is already a libertarian icon.

candidates who don't pander to special interest groups never get any traction because they don't get enough money. peter needs your support! hes going to need 10s of millions for ads and campaigning. dodd will get that much and more from the pacs to destroy him with lies. peter has to counter that but you cant expect him to fund it all by himself. peters probably worth only around 20-30m. a lot for a guy who started out with nothing, but he's no billionaire!

No one can predict the future. anything could happen in the short run.
I personally think we will have another rally in equities.
As grim as the economic outlook is, i would much rather own stocks and gold than bonds or cash, and I think most people will feel the same.

I love Peter Shciff but He says that things will be bad for years to come and unemployment will continue on the downtrend, and I agree. My issue is that he seems cold to the social impact of whats happening. People are running out of unemployment everday and they have no other means of income. Tent cities are going up in California. We don't have years. People will get desperate. Major soical colapse will prevail or people will ask for gov't. Time is to short to speak in terms of years....

People will shortly get so desperate to the point that there will be cival unrest in certian parts of the country. People depend on the grid per say so much that they will do what is neccessary to feed themselves and their families. PLEASE do NOT use the word SACRIFICE!!! "Sacrifice" means trading a higher value in one's value-heirarchy for a lower one. Peter, you are not "sacrificing" by running for the senate, you are trading a LOWER value (money, time) for a HIGHER value (being able to persuade the political climate of this country). Likewise, your supporters are not "sacrificing" by donating to you. They are trading a LOWER value (their money) for a HIGHER value (seeing you run and hopefully get elected).

He also argues against a gold-backed dollar. It's been a while since I've watched his Money Masters documentary, so I can't recall what his solution was, but he seemed to be very against another gold standard. No I didn't know that. That is interesting! I started paying attention to Schiff when "fan" channels on YT starting popping up for him, Gerald Celente, Jim Rodgers, etc.. All of which look to have been created by the same group or person. Which leads me to believe someone is funding these channels to promote these people. If you check the tags for the videos, they list Alex Jones, 9/11, WTC demolition, etc. I wonder if Soros money is behind it. He was recently exposed for infiltrating 9/11 truth

Nothing is as it seems, is it? It does seem to me though, that when the fiat ponzi scheme implodes, there are only two choices. One is to go back to a gold standard, and the other is to do away with money altogether. I don't think they can effectively rig every single election. If that were true, they'd have Ron Paul out of office long ago.
They clearly do manipulate them, but i wouldn't suggest they have anything close to full control.
I agree the party LEADERSHIP is 100% controlled by certain special interests, but that doesnt mean every single individual in the parties is subject to this. The only political strategy that can possibly work is if our movment takes over one of these parties, re-hijack!

Peter initially started getting face time in the media as a marketing strategy for EuroPac. He always talked about the things he talks about today, but for different reasons. He started out promoting his business, he became HUGELY popular in liberty minded people, and we started practically begging him to run for senate
Peter didn't decide to run for office himself, and wont without enough support.

Truthers is no more of a blanket statement than "neo-cons". Like i said, i'm pretty much a truther, i believe we don't know the truth about 911, not even close.
I don't watch or trust Glen Beck, unless there is a youtube clip that interests me.
I have very similar feelings towards Alex Jones as i do Glenn Beck. I trust my own ability to research, not any particular medium of media
It's all about verification through various sources, not single sources of propaganda. ;-)

You seem like a reasonable fellow. Do not fall down the rabbit hole of 9/11 "truth" paranoia that so many supporters of Ron Paul and Peter Schiff have done.
There may indeed be an effort by elite global bankers to consolidate government and capital markets around the world. However, it has nothing to do with 9/11.
There is certainly another socio-political ideology that seeks to expand its influence throughout the world. It is radical Islam, it is real and it is dangerous.

I agree radicalism is a threat, and has always been a threat. Obviously, like Ron Paul, i believe Blowback is the reason radicalism is growing in the middle east, and it was also the reason cited by the commission for 911. I believe Blowback and radicalism was a factor on 911, without a doubt but i think it's pretty obvious that, political and financial interests went uninvestigated
When i say i believe in 911 "Truth", i mean i do not view the Commission as a valid, conclusive investigation

Blowback is the excuse that every fascist movement in history uses. Hitler blamed Jews for the economic colapse of the veimar, the Taliban blamed western sanctions for blowing up the Bamyan Buddahs, ect...
Supporting Israel's effort to defend itself against religious fanatics who wish to complete the holocaust based on what the Prophet Mohammad said 1400 years ago is not a legitimate reason for Blowback.
Terrorists always pose as victims to justify supremicist aims.
