aqui en cataluña hace mucho, muchisimo, que hacen esta serie, te diria que 15 años jajaja, pk dices eso de tanto catalanismo? por estar en catalan? o de algun comentario de alguien? nose, en todo caso, a lo importante, una gran serie!

Doraemon just keeps comming and yet the kids never get any older from liek the early 60's

Technically, the time doesn't advance.

They already made three endings in the manga and there was one planned for TV (which got leaked... Nobita was supposed to be a kid in a coma and Doraemon was just one of his plush toys. TV Tokyo had to actually sign a contract saying that there was no official end to Doraemon because of this).

kid in a coma? i didn't know that, that must be why the adventures are so bizzar. I actully really like doraemon but i don't know much about the story it's self, since i don't speak any japanese

Well, that episode wasn't officially aired so it's not canon, but the knowledge of this is pretty widespread.

The only reason I've seen Doraemon is because I actually live in Catalonia, one of the places aside from Japan where it actually got hugely popular (there's even orange juice trademark which uses him as a mascot for the "children size" bottles)

it's never been even dubbed in english so i havn't seen it anywhere but online.

It seems really cool though and i wish i could have seen it as a kid.

It's very out of place from the rest of Doraemon series, their adventures are cheerful and cartoonish without any real problem (except some of the episodes and all the movies)

Officially, the episode never made it to TV so I guess even the producers hesitated.

yeah but it would be unforgettable if it made to an OVA or direct to DVD thing..i would surely buy it "Doraemon Endings Compilation"
