good work guys cant wait to see the great things NASA and the civilian sector can do together. regardless of whether its the best path its the path and we can still do great things with it.
Bringing up Tranquility and the Cupola means the West has completed construction of it's share of the station. That leaves just Russia to finish off the rest of it!
Take a good look. After this year you'll be seeing this less and less. The Administration's FY2011 budget--fully endorsed by NASA's leadership--doesn't just retreat from America's commitment to manned space flight, it announces the full surrender. There is no money in the budget to for realistic procurement and operations to take us beyond low earth orbit. John Kennedy and men like Gus Grissom would rightfully be ashamed.
The Administration's FY'11 budget extends the ISS mission beyond 2020 and cancels portions of the Constellation program in favor of increasing NASA contracts for private aerospace companies, including SpaceX and Orbital Sciences Corporation.
In the past, every time I've seen something like this on the station that's broadcast to earth, everyone keeps themselves oriented one way as though there's a gravity field. It was nice to see some people oriented sideways with respect to everyone else. It reminds us, the viewers, that this is taking place in space, and gives it the sci-fi vibe that keeps space travel exciting.
totally love it when they all meet for the first time. it must be hard for the guys that have been there 100 days+ to finally have a girl there but have to stay professional ha ha. how long are these guys up there for?
One of them is wrong way round, because there's no room :-D

Most of us can only dream of being on a spacecraft. ='(
We'd probably take it for granted if it was normal tho.

NASA= $18billion, ESA= $5billion,
JAXA= $3billion, RKA= $2billion
CNSA= $1billion, CSA= $400 million ...
its more of a pause for breath than a retreat.
