I tried turning straight a number of times and it is true it causes a ton of problems. It causes insecurities and spirtual problems. I have a thought regarding the matter of "changing sexuality". Isn't it entirely possible for a person to be unsure of their sexuality such that they may not so much change as they do finally discover themselves? There is so much we can be unsure of in love and what we want in a partner that the idea of being unsure of one's sexual preference seems plausible.

However, I think more needs to be said about the correlation between being molested as a child and being gay as an adolescent and adult. One statistic suggested that 75% of openly gay individuals were molested before the age of 18, this obviously shows that not all are born that way.

I have a thought regarding the matter of "changing sexuality". Isn't it entirely possible for a person to be unsure of their sexuality such that they may not so much change as they do finally discover themselves? There is so much we can be unsure of in love and what we want in a partner that the idea of being unsure of one's sexual preference seems plausible.

I agree with your statement that you can't change who you are and what your instincts drive you to do. However, I think more needs to be said about the correlation between being molested as a child and being gay as an adolescent and adult. One statistic suggested that 75% of openly gay individuals were molested before the age of 18, this obviously shows that not all are born that way.
