I have the CD in front of me here and it says Stereo. There are two tracks on this disk that I just love; one is this one and the other is the Vorspiel to Parsifal.
I have this recording on CD. Please let me know if you want more info. On a side note..this same CD has the best version of the prelude to Parsifal that I've ever heard.
@exitdogger The CD is "The Klemperer Legacy (Wagner: Ouvertüren und Vorspiele Vol. 2)". The music is great, but sadly, it seems to be in mono. Stereo seems to have become popular only a few years later.
