The opening they used before I thought was too fast but this one is exactly what I was hoping they would use for their new opening as far as highlighting the station!
This is way to freakin long! 20 sec open! Seriously? 7-10 secs is standard. Plus they are using the talent cut. I like the history, but this is too long for EVERY newscast. I would get board and change the channel.
It's a fairly unique open as far as Gannett stations go. I think I like it!

umm, this is different. i like the historic part in the beginning but the opening is way too long.
