You can't quite sing the high notes in this song and it gets painfully evident during the "You don't see me" part. A very common thing for professional singers is to detune a step or so when they perform songs live that they had to struggle with in the studio. This is in order for them not to fall short of the proper note when they have just one shot at getting it right. Try listening to "I'm with you" by Avril Lavigne, both the studio- and live version. She always detunes live.
