  • no sump tank? fail....

  • @TheSnotflakes Its a nano....

  • @TrueDioza nano's need sumps even more then a regular size.

  • this is a great vid i have the tmc 30 litre i wanted one clown so i only put a small amount of live rock in is this okay?

  • @Aquariumsbyzero hope you change the filter often. Nitrate factory:/ I only run floss right after water change

  • Least for me

  • Depending on what you already have, before livestock, around $380, at

  • If you don't mind me asking, how much does a rig like this cost you?

  • @jimgriffiths57 Sorry It took me a littl while to get back to you here. before live stock bu including live rock, around $500 and $600 i believe. Your most expensive part will be your lighting in my opinion. I also didnt by it all at onces, I spaced it out over time, was a while before i actually got my set up ready to go. hope this helps thanks for watching!

  • pretty sure your suppose to mix your water then add it ? not mix the salt in the actual tank

  • @ILIUIKIEI Normally thats correct, but in this case since theres nothing in the tank but water and its the the initial set up, it dosn't really matter. You never want to fix the salt in an established setup with livestock. Thanks for watching!

  • cool good luck but it is bad to put aquariums next to doors!!! it frightens the fish.

  • Nice setup you got going man. I have a 29 biocube that i set up as a reef. It is a challenge, but thats the fun of it in my opinion. Do your weekly water changes and you'll be good to go. I also started the looong process of a 75 gallon build. Keep up the good work..

  • thanks for the vid. keep em commin i sub you sub

  • Biger is always better with Reef Keeping! :~)

  • @tkdhav I hear ya, Hopefully one day I'll get a bigger set up going. This Nano seems like a solid challange tho.

  • @AquariumsbyZero oh by all means a great start, I was just agreeing with the heater and the protine skimmer, it will be nice that they are larger than you need, then you can use maybe in another setup and no such thing as water too clean with a reef tank, well some say Xenia do better in dirty water, however mine came into it once I had RO water.

  • @tkdhav Oh yeah, I have a habbit of oversizing my equpiment, at least on my freshwater tanks, figure it cant hurt here either... we shall see! thanks for checking out my video. Got the sand in the tank today hopeully I'll get the video on here soon.

  • @tkdhav you sir, are a fool and completely wrong

  • @DisturbedAndMore is that soo!
