You say to double the string, leaving two strings. You never explain where the other two strings come from. Hands in the way, cannot see if cords are going over or under and you do not provide clear explanations of what you are doing. Backwards 4 looks the same as the frontwards or normal four. Try laying cords down and then moving hands away so viewer can actually see what the cords are doing.

Do you have to use hemp? Can you use Friendship Thread? :P I don't have hemp cord.

@TheseWafflezBeSexii You can use any material you like! Just note that different materials will have a different outcome. For example friendship thread will create a bracelet that is skinner than the hemp cord, but yarn will make it thicker!

@xJayMEEH say i had red hemp cord and yellow hemp cord i do what she does in the vid with tieing but you take green thread and wrap the individual strings with it and only loosely not the whole thing. p.s. i am confusing you may not understand let me know if you do kay?

@jmnhotgirl You can, but instead of crossing over the string i would recommend using the outside 2 for all the knots and the inside 2 for stringing the beads

That's a good idea using a clip board instead of taping it to a table. I never thought of that but the only flaw is keeping the clip board still................

But I wonder... Why not just draw lines directly on the clipboard?  You won't have to worry about wrinkling the paper.

@kaytlinschipper I use the clipboard for other tasks as well. You can draw it on if you like, but if you use a marker make sure the ink is dry first.
