This looks great, but I'm sorry! I can't get over why this is called THE LAST AIRBENDER: The Legend of Korra instead of AVATAR: The Legend of Korra. Makes it sound like a sequel to the horrible film that shall not be addressed!

@MiniBearZ12 It would have to be Aang's child/ ancestor. Judging by the tribute statue to aang in the trailer and how built up and more modern looking the cities have become I would guess Korra is Aaang's ancestor and the show is set a long time after the Aang arc.

Their youngest is Tenzin who is a airbender(only airbender master in the world). And Tenzin has three kids Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo who are also airbenders. Korra will airbending from Aang's son Tenzin.

If that whole protection deal is a satisfying fantasy of yours then that's fine. However it's a bad idea to try to base your perception of reality on a fantasy. Your conception of women seem to have little to no connection to how real women actually are.

However it's unreasonable to demand that all fiction-writers write so as to cater to your specific tastes. It is especially unreasonable to expect this of Avatar, a show which has never treated it's female characters as weak beings who are only present in the story to be protected by the menfolk.

You have the right to express your oppinion, you don't have the right not to have people disagree.

Either way, whether a girl can defend herself in hand to hand combat very much depends on whether she's been trained to do it. I know several girls who've been trained in martial arts who could probably defend themselves very well, and equally I know several guys who probably could not.
