Sky Garden and Yoshi Circuit should be switched around. I know that that would make it go SNES, N64, GCN, AND GBA, but Sky Garden's music should come last just like Rainbow Road.

Haha I always used to use Dry Bones. I completed it and then the save got deleted from my back-up game. And the game card I got it off of is my sisters and she dont let me play it. I'll have to buy it for myself.

it took me 3 years playing on and off to 3 star all the circuits. seemed like no matter how well I did there were a couple of cups that I would always end up with 2 stars on. Yesterday I finally finished the last one and I can finally close this chapter on my life.

Drift then jump when it's about to crash on you. You can only do it with a few karts

NOP.. to evade it you must perform a mini turbo and release it just when it is above your head.

TO get 3 stars:

-stay in 1st place a lot

-don't hit walls, or items/obstacles.

-do many mini turbos

-use items wisely ie: ex: put bananas were CPU would fall for them

Focus on these things, you don't need to snake but it will help since you do many mini turbos which increases your chance

Rating system is really simple. All it cares about is your place when you cross the finish line in each lap. Always cross it while first on all laps and you are guaranteed a 3 star rank. It's harder to do with that lame rubberband ai on mirror mode though.

Not true. I place first in all of the races in a cup all the time and I never get more than two stars.

There is this shortcut using the same character and kart. In the last track in the video, when you are at Yoshi's paw (look at bottom screen) , you press drift button and go straight than just going around. It once got me from 4th to 1st. This cannot be done with any other character and kart

Wait until the middle of when the number 2 is on the screen. Hold down the gas then. If you hold it down before then, you will go up in smoke (literally); if after, you will not get a boosted start.

As far as I know, there is no official statement as to what you have to do; only speculation. After observing a lot, I'm almost positive that you have to do a lot of power slides. That's one of the things. I believe you have to use a lot of items too.

Not just that. I always MT through each track constantly, but I sometimes lose three stars when I get knocked off tracks by heavy racers. (I've also managed three stars without MTing once.) I'd guess that how far you finish ahead of the second racer is taken into account, along with the number of times you've fallen or hit walls.

heh, you had a lot of luck on that cup~ normaly you have to count with 3 blue koopathingys per race - you got only 1 in the whole cup.

btw. using drybone and the bonetank you can save much more time on the skytrack. always take the cloudy shortcut after the close turn and use a lot more driftboosts (you missed about 7-8 boosts per lap)!
