I remember this! It was well scary because I was at school and my teacher was looking at an article on the Northern Echo website about a "Factory Explosion" and he read it and it said Aycliffe Industrial Estate.. I was well worried because it's right next to where my sister lives and 1 mile from where I live. I could hear the explosions from 2 miles away! Almost 1 year since this happened!

I was a school today, i heard an explosion so i ran around to the back of the school and saw a huge cloud of smoke, there were lots of small explosions which i assume are just some cans exploding, does anybody know if the fire is going down!?

@extremelytriumphant the fire is going down, my brother lives behind the factory that exploded, it was 7,500 aerosol cans that blew up and this plant thingy, but the fire is under control now, only two people hurt but no serious injuries or anything, which is good
