Nehru/Gandhi are both responsible for this mess. First they should never have agreed to partition of India into Pakistan/Bangladesh. No Pakistan means no Taliban. The Taliban was a creation of Pakistan and not a home grown product of Afghanistan. USA is also responsible. The billions of dollars flowing into Pakistan is being used for creating such brutal ideologies like the Taliban. USA has to stop sending billions of dollars into Pakistan. Both India and Afghanistan are suffering because of it.

I have seen pashtuns from wardak, Paghman, Logar, Kandahar and khost who were very much of supportive for Taliban and they think that other ethnics of tajiks, hazaras and uzbeks are infadel. you are confused yourself on which side to support. Well the Taliban is not solely Pakistan. Taliban is from the Pashtun. But not all Pashtun are bad. But there is some shared beliefs in comon with the Taliban and Wahhbi (Wahabi = Saudi Sunni movemnet Anti-Shia and Arab Supremacy group.) Of the 70 million Pashtun 90% live in Pakistan. But 1/3 of Afghan population is Pashtun.

But ISI and Paki has helped fund the military wing of Taliban and have caused many problems for Afghanistan, and now Pakistan.
