@doctoroctoroc - did you use a custom graphics program to make the animation or a game engine (ala "RPG Maker")? It does look sorta like Final Fantasy IV but I'm not sure if you could patch the music like that onto a FFIV rom. Also, is the music around 3:30 from Mario Paint?

@robcypher Custom graphics based on FFIV graphics. No gae engine, just a lot of attention to detail :-) And yes, that's the music from Mario Paint. I thought it had a great "elevator music" feel.

This version made leaps and bounds more sense. Like, in the hot tub in the end, I always wondered why they were hanging out with a bunch of gargoyle statues. But in the extended version, the grenade(s) actually turn all the way green instead of just flashing angry eyes.

Now it's apparent that the grenades were the only chicks that the Jersey Shore boys had the collective charm to coax into their home.

@AEMoreira81 The battle is a custom track I made with no particular influence, just a basic house music bassline but sped up for the battle feel. The GTL scene, for the laundry part, is from Mario Paint. It's the track entitled "Pushups".

Trust me, I have too much pride to try to take credit for a Pauly D track. @demonhuskfang Luckily, no. Appreciate the sentiment though, haha. The guys at CH wrote the script so I only needed to find pictures for reference. I was, however, required to listen to some of the music from the show to make the soundtrack. That nearly caused me to take my life but then I realized I didn't want that on my tombstone.

@tranceaddict11 I use FL Studio to compose the tracks, with plugins (soundfonts) ripped from SNES ROMs.

@tranceaddict11 It comes with FL Studio - it's listed as "Fruity Soundfont" if I'm not mistaken. Once you load that as an instrument, click the folder icon in the plugin menu box (the one that pops up if you click the button in the instruments list with the name of the instrument) and find the soundfont you downloaded. It's easiest to download all soundfonts to the "Data/Patches/Soundfonts" folder where FL is installed. Once you load the soundfont you can select the voice from the dropdown box.

@Inusmellyalater Final Fantasy III on SNES was titled Final Fantasy VI in Japan. II and III in Japan were never released on NES in America so they re-numbered Japan's V as II and re-numbered Japan's VI as III. That's why there's no Final Fantasy IV, V or VI for SNES in America. It wasn't until they did the remakes that they started numbering them correctly. In order to avoid confusion about which Final Fantasy it is, people nowadays go by Japan's numbering system.

Very close, except it was IV that they called II in the US. V didn't come over until the rereleases on the PS1 and GBA.

Easy rule: If it's on the SNES and someone calls it 2 or 3, multiply by 2. Anything else should be accurate.
