what i understand is that zanelli was a baritone and then he became a tenor,he had a magnificent voice both as a baritone and a tenor and must of been brilliant live!

There is something very exuberant about the sound of castanets. One comedian of the past used to employ two sets of false teeth as castanet substitutes while performing an uninhibited dance.

It is most enjoyable to hear Mr Zanelli in the

baritone phase of his illustrious career. Thank you for posting this song which no doubt is familiar to many listeners in another, also excellent recording of it made by Gigli.
