  • I think lady gagas somg boys boys boys is much better:P

  • @reeferskankpot Thanks from the German fan base and webmaster and all us Germans who just returned from Sailor's fantastic headline concert in Germany (where they still have their biggest success). Shall report this as spam then or just block it?!

  • @reeferskankpot i'm a sissy boy who loved girls girls girls!

  • @reeferskankpot

Thank you, I am a kraut, a german. And I love the Euro. And Sailor of course.

  • @reeferskankpot lol u forgot fudgepacker and knobjockey!!!!

  • @reeferskankpot of course everyone who speaks german is from germany and only eating kraut and a nazi.

    prejudice, anyone?

I'm from austria and my mother tongue is german.

  • @IvyTinwe i love germans...

  • which music genre is it?

  • Feiret min 30 års-dag i 1976. En av gjestene hadde med denne plata, og "Girls, girls, girls" og "A glass of Champagne" blei spilt non-stop hele kvelden!!!

  • hat style....

  • JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • ههههههههههههههه

  • Glass of champagne. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh memories.

  • 29 people don't like girls, girls, girls.

  • @quarkwrok its not there fault they dont have a clue :)

  • @quarkwrok well if they dont like girls, they must be shirtlifters, queers, fags, fairys, bummers, back door bandits, turd burglars, floppy johnsons, or french, frogs, smelly twats. or maybe even krauts, jerrys, germans, england forever, europe and the euro?? kiss my english ass

es war so schön, ich heul gleich wieder los :'(

  • @Pop1co2rn3Girl4 Jaaa wirklich!!!! :´(

  • Das war 1976 meine erste Singelplatte!!!!

  • Gutes Lied (:

  • 26 people are gays

  • Bloody hell, Franz Ferdinand really have been round for years haven't they?!

  • @DerekTaff

    Yes indeed.

Listen to "Drums and Wires" or "White Music" by XTC to find more of FF's new-wave influences.

  • Sailor seemed more like a precursor to Spandau Ballet, etc. The song "Girls, Girls. Girls" is also a great example of 70's camp - not a million miles away from our beloved Queen. It's still crap though - I'll give you that.

  • Love this band brings back great memories, saw em live at Newcastle city hall. Believe Kajunas was one of the most under rated writers of the modern times

  • des lied is echt gut... zum foxtrott tanzen... =D

  • das waren sooo coole zeite yuub

  • @boehzeladyy coole Zeiten stimmt- das lied ist trotzdem schei.....

  • fucking magic!

  • I'm 15 and even I think this is an amazing song by truly talented musicians. Not like the crap auto tuned people in the charts today :(

  • This is wonderful! I remember Sailor from the charts in 1976 when I was 6 or 7 and I never forgot Glass of Champagne and this one.

What strikes me about this live performance is just how damn tight they are as a band! They may have been pushed as a teenybopper's Roxy Music but they were far more than that. Bloody good musicians!

  • ein super song das finde ich klasse sowas ist cult !!

  • I remember this song from the late great Benny Hill show........

  • FIU FIU FIU ......

  • this song is brilliant-timeless and everytime it is played everyone says they love it-i play this song in my exercise classes sometimes before the class starts along with other classics-just fantastic-long may it continue-

  • saw these guys at the El Macombo Toronto, had a really good time that night! Long time ago, thanks for the memories.

  • Immer noch Legendär^^

  • i have whit this song deja-vu

  • can remember I saw this in TV in 1976 when I was a young child. Cooool

  • who said punk was dead!

  • And the sound of Nickekdeon.

  • I thought Motley Crue did this song.

  • @Tickbryan pmsl at the thought, i wish they had! mind you, at that time, the crue looked more like girls than the girls

  • There was a phase termed "Camp Rock" and it was largely costumes as part of the show. It's all about entertainment, folks! On stage, you project a persona, to suit the circumstances. You must be larger than life to appear 'normal' away on the stage or through the deadening effect of TV. And this is all about entertainment and fun.

  • Bet you Franz Ferdinand could do a good cover of this

  • An die Deutschsprachigen hier:

bin ich der einzige der ab 1:10 denkt, dass der Text

    "ich brauche keine Millionen

mir fehlt kein Pfennig zum Glück

alles was ich brauch ist nur

Musik Musik Musik" heissen muss ??

  • I've been hunting for this song! Thanks so much for posting it. :)

  • The heterosexual village people.

  • I feel like my dad has played this song before

  • "It was for them only "Plastic"-Charts..."

    Rainer Poppe@Elias

  • @goose700 I'm off to see them at a huge concert at the Grugahalle in Essen tonight. I'll ask them and their wives and kids then... LOL

  • @Sailormarinero LOL, just not the most masculine sound, may be thats how it was in the UK in 1976, but what do I know, I was living in Mississippi in 1976 and was 5 years old....LOL. Have fun at the concert.

  • @goose700 I went to school with Grant Serpel's son, so I presume he had some idea!!!

  • @goose700 i bet you dont know what to do with a boy..lol

  • @goose700 And you DOOOOOOOO

  • @goose700 They knew what to do with your Mom.

  • Wow this is catchy! I didn't even mean to find this :D

  • that's a very good song^^

brillants singers xD but I think today he could be gay with that anchor ^^*

  • I completely forgot about this song..... i was only 5 though.

Great fun... something which is lacking in todays music i think

  • fucking great

  • You've made a happy man very old.. ;)

  • I remember these guys too about the same age when I was living in England. Seemed like they only on the music scene for a short while and disappeared...

  • @FredWebberking They are still around today (actually play a big show in Hamburg this evening! ;-)). They had two huge hits in the 90s in Germany, Holland etc, too, and still play live with 3 original band members.

  • @Sailormarinero

Well, 2 and a half huge hit ;-)

  • @Sailormarinero Really? When did they play in Hamburg? Sorry I missed that. Does Georg Kajanus still play in the band? He had a great voice!!

  • @Sailormarinero

You say there are still three live band members?

  • @FredWebberking what a shame....

    they are so good!

  • @FredWebberking

    1977 punk came in.

  • @FredWebberking

Through lack of talent. They've had a one song repertoire for two and a half decades

  • @FredWebberking I agree i loved this song when i was a kid love glass of champagne

  • far out i also heard this one when i was around 7-8 years old... first music i was in doubt about, because its so groovy and corny at the same time...

  • He´s mother are from Finland and father from Russia

  • Was that 100% live? Sound quality is A1.

  • nice song. but stubid cam :D my low handy can film in bether Quali :DD odl times bro :)

  • This is one of the earliest songs I remember - in France about aged 5. Christ, it's going back.

  • Oh Mann, waren wir damals noch jung :-) Es scheint, als wäre es gestern gewesen :-(

  • @WolfgangHH1953 du hast ja so recht!!!

  • OMG, I searched so long for it!!!!! :) I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • Wasn't this the song that inspired "Boys, Boys, Boys" by Lady Gaga?

  • @eaw1034 That song played as i read your comment !weird...

  • @ScienceRks , The irony! D=

  • @eaw1034 Ru being ironic ? lol great cartoons..; D

  • Excellent!

  • wonderful!

  • one of the catchiest songs ever made!

  • im lben dreht sich alles nur um girls girls girls

  • Elvis had a song and a movie called: Girls, Girls, Girls, check it out.

  • @MrMusicman488 - OK Elvis had this song, but it never was a hit, it is terrible, ohly the title is the same!

  • music of that time is just the best...i wish i was born much earlier!

  • Ist zwar schon was aelter, aber ich mag es einfach. : D

    Und es macht gute Laune..

  • @x3Mariquitax3 ach ich bin 52 :-)) zu der zeit hatte ich noch volles haar jeeha !

  • LOL!!!!!

  • This is what Roxy Music would have sounded like if they'd been shite...

  • @rjmachin Roxy Music ur shite

  • This is what Roxy Music would have sounded like if they'd been shite...

  • I seem to remember the first time I ever heard this was in an episode of Benny Hill, way after its release.

  • Fab song and has a certain something that's missing from today's music. What could that be? Oh yes, I know! It's called a melody. Why it's been so long since I heard one I'd almost forgotten it once existed.

  • ^-^ Love this song.

  • now German

der Song von JBO ist mindestens...genau so gut (oder besser)...als des Original.............

  • we sing this in chor this is a cool song. I love it.

  • plagiaat plagiaaat!!

  • Of what?

  • @Sailormarinero

muppetshow! the chorus that is! :p

    love the song though

  • Oh that... yes. But "Girls Girls Girls" was written about one year _before_ the first Muppet Show was aired. So it's the other way round. ;-)

  • @Sailormarinero

What left to say? Sailor rocks, Muppet sucks ;-)))

  • Yes, that's exactly what struck me too! ;)

  • Bought their Album in the seventies. Adore Sailor. Don't know what everyone else is talking about but thank you so much for posting this. Paul O'Grady played them a few weeks ago and it brought back such good memories. Ta again x

  • this song is a constant question featured on Facebooks' "Music Challenge"

  • Your name is shyte shyte shyte!

    What's your real name?

    love from

    Kek Kek Kek

  • @Kekbwecka You obviously don't ever watch Father Ted?

  • Von der Mimic hat der Sänger ähnlichkeiten mit Terenc Hill

  • macht einen fröhlich dieses lied ;)

könnte es den ganzen tag hören :D

  • yea it makes me happy :D

  • Needs a ukulele.

  • GREAT SUMMER in 1997 in big EUPHORIE

  • Another one of these great 70years songs, that stood for a way of life. We were allowed to have a lot of different girls and prudery was not modern...

  • This is such a cool tune!

  • this song is so much fun :D

  • When i was about eleven i loved this song and a girlie that i fancied called me a softie- she liked stuff like Led Zepelin etc. Now she's married & fat. I'm not. Fair enough.

  • Lol - pretty similar story here but I'm the skinny female! Revenge is best served cold!

  • I was skinny too ! :D

So maybe this will sound not very magnanimous to some people here with a different bodytype but can't help it: Hail to the skinny kids with a cool taste in music ! Time is on our side ! :)

  • @hanselkksc Sad story! But a great song "Who calls you Honey, 'most every day"??

  • wann ham na de vor da regensburg arcaden gspielt?

  • die ham in den regensburger arcarden gespielt

und zwar am 2.10 zur oldies night

  • I was only young, but remember Pan's People performing this on Top of the Pops. Does anyone else remember this?

  • In short yes. Sadly yes but that's cos pan's people drove me to distraction and i used to want to see the band not a bunch of girls flitting about the stage- and i know that was 10. Yikes! ;0)

  • saw em years ago supporting cockney rebel on the 'come up and see me' tour.

  • i saw them live yesterday

    and they were great

    =D

  • Me too. Front row at the Regensburg Arcaden. I will soon upload a video from yesterday's concert too!

  • Typically 70S, non sensical, no PC just enjoy!! great song

  • NoPC? OK,so I´m a noPC neanderthal fossil for admitting that it´s the Girls Girls Girls who make this planet interesting for me!

  • the drummer was english and kept the band going, the rest were fake and mimers who had no careers and ofc were greasy spiks

  • The band still consists of three original members plus new singer today and is also still on tour. No mimers, btw. And some careers, too. Phil Pickett co-wrote 'Karma Chameleon' for example. Eh ;-)

  • How nice to see one of the last of what is now an extinct species!!...... A SINGING DRUMMER!!!

  • classic

  • love this song ☺

  • bravo!!

  • it's only a fun song for looking pretty girl*****

  • que bien suenan. me gusta mucho ésta canción, Gracias a Sailormarinero por la aportación.

  • yay

  • They were really great in the 70ies, because the performed their own style.

    Great!

    Greetings from Germany

  • i heard this on one of my dad's old cd's and i instantly fell in love. awesome song

  • Nickelodeon is the Best..

I love the way Georg says:: "Geisha..."

  • Did that turn into the theme for the Muppet Show?

  • The other way round probably. Sailor's "Girls Girls Girls" is from 1975 (from their album "Trouble") and the Muppet Show only started in 1976 ;-)

  • n dreht sie ois nur um girls girli

  • Heard the song from the radio and looked it up. Very cool style and sound. I couldn´ t get the song out of my head all day. !

  • Thanks 4 that.

I can't access your web page, but as a one-man-band, I played many times in Norway. Maybe you can tell me which area he comes? Thanks again

  • Thanks very much,
