  • I have not been in this channel for a long time, and i now come in and i see this... Shit, i'll miss you Seb, gg in your new adventure and i'll try to learn swedish :)

    gl hf!

  • Hope you bring up the noise in Sweden! Though this is my last visit on this channel, and I want to say thanks. I missed your contend and will further miss it, since you were one of the few guys in the scene, who did't fear little details, due to easily bored casual Starcraft-kids -.-

8 Words from Germany to beautiful Sweden: Sjöbergsan - GL HF and GG!

  • @donheller1 And I want to say thanks to you for watching GGvision, and for being so supportive in my pursuits. I will do all I can and more to bring the light of E-sports to the barren lands of Sweden! :) GL HF to you too, good sir!

  • @Zergerz1 Thank you for your feedback. The problem, or as I'd like to see it - the opportunity, does not lie in the language barrier. I want to help in broadening E-sports and making it more accessible to people who would never venture into Teamliquid and the dense subculture that currently exists around Starcraft 2. My wish is to build a new layer on top of the existing community, for (right now) more casual gamers and non-geeks, and that's why I'm doing Swedish content.

  • Damn I have missed your videos! For some reason I have not seen your videos on my front page of subscriptions for a while! But I think you'll doing the right move and I just love how StarCraft is getting bigger and bigger in "lilla landet lagom". :P Kör hårt! I have watched you since you started this channel!

  • @Zemtex2451 I've been in-active for quite some time, but now GGvision is back with a vengeance and in Swedish. Glad to hear that you're a long time fan - do let me know what you think of the new direction and what you'd like me to report on. Kul att du tittar :)

  • I am from Denmark but my swedish is a little to bad to get much out of the videos, but good luck, it is inspiring to see how big Starcraft 2 and eSports has grown in Sweden, and if Denmark could do just half as well it would be amazing :)

  • @Zeitgeist I appreciate that, and obviously I'm sad that many viewers won't be able to enjoy the new Swedish content fully. On the other hand, maybe it's time for E-sports in Danish too? I'd be happy to ally up with you if so :)

  • I may not be able to understand shit, but others will! Venturing to an untapped niche always sounds like a good choice. Best of luck!

  • Although it's not the best thing for me (as I love your videos) I fully support this move, as I believe it's the best thing for you. I hope the best for you as you kick ass.

Just make sure to keep kickin ass in Swedish haha.

  • @MrPolterghost Thanks man, I respect that - and will promise to kick Swedish E-sport ass! I will also do guest casting in English at other channels, and everyone who's posted here on this video will be informed. Cheers for watching! :)

  • Hey, man, long time no see. I am staying with you becaouse I speak Norwegian and that means that I undersand Sweedish. Do check out the video on my chanel from very first Barcraft in Oslo.

    Glhf

  • @157GOLIATH Hi there, I do appreciate that you'll be staying. Just uploaded a bunch of new videos in Swedish, and also kick-launched the blog at the same time. Hope you'll find it interesting.

That looked like a really cool night of Oslo-Starcraft 2, wish I'd been there. GGvision is closely allied with the Swedish BarCraft scene, and we'll be doing some cool work together. Let me know if you're ever around Stockholm! :)

  • gl bro, u rock

    - this will most def. give u an edge in sc2 broadcasting

  • @Zgembo121 Thanks mate, that's what I'm aiming for. Swedo-content coming up this weekend, Englo-casts will happen in the future :)

  • Good luck!

    See you somewhere else...

  • @redcitykrr Thanks! I will send carrier pigeons and smoke signals about when new English content reaches the internetz, wherever that may be. Thanks for watching!

  • @PolygonreVue Thank you too, mate!

    Vo-one

  • If it's for E-Sports than i can't get upset about this change but i only know English which sucks a bit but you're a top bloke Sebastian and i wish you the best in whatever you do. ^_^ GG and out!

  • @666tReaper Thanks ever so much, noble sir, I do appreciate that! This is a new dawn, and some things will have to change in order to discover new horizons, yada yada - and I will miss the old crew. Hopefully it will bring more people into the community though, and make Starcraft 2 grow.

I will be producing and co-producing English content in the future, and when that comes online I will let you know about it. GG and out! ^^

  • I just want to thank you for all the interviews you did couple years ago, they got me really excited for this game and the community. I also listened all your GG Rated podcasts and liked those too. I wish you good luck with your future plans!

  • @suksori Many thanks, good sir, that makes me very happy to hear. I do hope that many people will discover Starcraft 2 and its great community through content made in their own language, that's what I'm working for at least.

In either case I aim to do more interviews with international stars, and English guest casts on other channels. Would be nice to do a GG Rated-like podcast again also. When that happens I will send you a PM. Thanks for tuning in! :)

  • Sebastian! Oh how I have missed your voice. I am pretty torn on this news on one hand I am sad that I don't understand Swedish and thus will be missing out on your commentary but on the other I am extremely proud of your decision to spread the joy of pro Starcraft to those that don't really have a commentator (yet) to explain to them just how awesome this game really is!

I hope things go the very best for you in everything you are trying to accomplish!

    Cheers and GG <3!!

  • @thundasc Thanks man, I do appreciate that. It hasn't been an easy decision, as I absolutely love Starcraft and have a clear goal of making it my business and passion combined. SC2 has always been an international community, and straying away from that will mean losses. Hopefully more people can flock to the scene if they are given a more newbie-friendly gateway into it, and that's what I will work hard at providing.

Still, I aim to do English casts elsewhere. I'll let you know :)

  • @PolygonreVue excellent! I look forward to it =D

  • I will have to learn Swedish. T.T

  • @OdinLowe it's fairly easy, give it 24 hours and you'll understand everything!

  • @OdinLowe I'd be happy to help you out :)

  • New logo?

  • @circlestereo Yes indeed, made my the illustrator savante over at zattberg[dot]com... :)

  • In my book you're definitely one of the best SC2 casters, if not the best. Everyone have to find their niche, maybe this is spot on for you. For me, I'll keep 'prenumerera' as I'm fortunate to speak Swedish.

  • @perfuzz Thanks mate, I will work hard to live up to that :)

  • I can't say I agree with the decision you have made, you will be alienating like 80% of your current audience and its a shame for those non-Swedish speaking folks that enjoyed your English casting.

Well i'll still follow you since i'm from Norway and understand Swedish perfectly well.

I respect the choice you've made, but il advice you to stick to English though....

GL with your future projects sir :=)

  • @Celedan You do have a point, and this decision is something I've pondered for quite some time. In the end it comes down to growth potential, and the fact that other casters (whose name may start with an H and end with a Y...) will always own the public Youtube. It's also really cool to bring E-sports to a new audience, and that's why I have decided to dedicate myself to the Swedish scene.

Still, I will miss the old GGvision crew. When English casts do happen, I will let you know :)

  • I guess there's no room left for quality english speaking casters:( we get stuck with... /cringe...husky.

    O well :(.

Farewell Sebastion. you were my all time favourite <3

love and peace from Canada and GL!

  • @dimitriuss if you want to check out a good english shoutcaster, also from canada, come check us out at starcraftinc! Dont lose hope! D:

  • @StarcraftInc That sounds good - let me know if you ever need a guest co-caster and I'm all game :)

  • @dimitriuss Thank you very much, that's warming my Starcraft-heart! When, rather than if, I do English shoutcasting again (probably at some other channel) I will let you know :)
