dont buy life savers they closed the U.S. plant and outsourse now to save money on suger and $3 ph they are no longer an amarican candy dont support there dirty littel secret
I make these a lot, and have found that if you use Jelly Belly jelly beans you can find them year round at many grocery stores in self-service bins. Also at candy shops in the mall. You can get all pink or all blue and they are the perfect size.
I did get these made. As you said I couldn't find jelly beans. I wanted to use white Tic Tacs, but couldn't find any white ones the day I was looking and I wound up cutting Good and Plenty in half. Instead of the royal icing I just used 1/4 cup of powdered sugar with a few drops of milk added and it worked well. The Shower is tomorrow and I can't wait!
Thanks for posting this. I remember seeing a similar one years ago and they used a jelly candy, but I like the jelly bean a lot better. I'm planning a baby shower and I want to make these. I hope I can find some blue jelly beans! If not maybe blue M&M's might work.
How cute! Love it!

I never would have thought of that. Actually Good and Plenty is my favorite candy!

It really is hard to find the jelly beans any time but Easter. Let me know how they turn out.
