  • I make these a lot, and have found that if you use Jelly Belly jelly beans you can find them year round at many grocery stores in self-service bins. Also at candy shops in the mall. You can get all pink or all blue and they are the perfect size.

  • I never would have thought of that. Actually Good and Plenty is my favorite candy!

    Have fun tomorrow.

  • I did get these made. As you said I couldn't find jelly beans. I wanted to use white Tic Tacs, but couldn't find any white ones the day I was looking and I wound up cutting Good and Plenty in half. Instead of the royal icing I just used 1/4 cup of powdered sugar with a few drops of milk added and it worked well. The Shower is tomorrow and I can't wait!

  • It really is hard to find the jelly beans any time but Easter. Let me know how they turn out.

  • Thanks for posting this. I remember seeing a similar one years ago and they used a jelly candy, but I like the jelly bean a lot better. I'm planning a baby shower and I want to make these. I hope I can find some blue jelly beans! If not maybe blue M&M's might work.
