Ocean Dub is ok... but it's not the best... it's all a matter of opinion... I've heard the Ocean Dub but I didn't 'Grow up' with it I grew up with Funi... Also japanese Goku sounds horrible he sounds like a 5 year old... I understand they are trying to capture he's young at heart but there are better ways of doing it... Sean in Funi captures the fun-loving and gentle nature of Goku while instilling a grow up attitude, voice and demeanor when it's needed...

@blazzered2 Yeah DBZ was originally dubbed by Ocean... but then it was redone by Funimation... in my opinion what they should do is have the Ocean Dub for the early episodes (Saiyan-Frieza Saga) then Funi for the rest... That's my opinion though...

@Netsaver finally somebody who thinks the same as I do, watching the Ocean dub up until Goku is about to fight Freiza and then Funi the rest of the way is awesome, it makes the beginning part of the series feel like an in between DB and DBZ and the change in voices and overall tone seems to give them the sense of growing up, like it's a whole new game by that time. plus alot of the humor in the Ocean dub, especially during the early Freiza saga is actually really funny :) thoughts?

Honestly that would be best because it would show you like actual progression instead of, "Oh he's talking like this and saying it like this just like before," instead you get, "Huh he didn't talk like that before... guess he's growing up!"
