eventually we're just going to consist of a brain and a pair of eyes sitting in front of a computer screen, because we're getting more and more dependant on machines doing everything for us and its become easier to use them (eventually we wont even have to press buttons, itl just detect our brain receptors). humans are gonna be put out of work too coz machines are taking everything over, and its only a matter of time before they become too intelligent and take US over. don't you see?- DYSTOPIA

Great video!! Got me thinking about how this replicator can be used. (this is not my idea) maybe these replicators or as i like to call them 3D printers, could be used to print a heart or any other organ. This is done by printing heart cells in the correct place and layering each layer of heart cells until you get the shape.

Machines that we create have the potential to provide for all of our needs and wants. The framework on how to build, innovate, and distribute plans is already in place. Current market forces discourage the sharing of information thankfully people have a passion to create beyond financial gain. Eventually the plans to build machines will be freely available. To power the machines we just need to tap it from the environment and what better way than to farm energy with a self replicating machines.

You lost me when you said that free software means that anyone is required to share what they write.

I's not so, they just can't remove the freedom for the next user of that code, but anyone can modify it for their own use, and share nothing to others.

I am sorry you are lost so easy. The point of the video is not my perfect presentation of the license, but the ultimate outcome of the license. The outcome of the license is when people make changes they share those changes. The outcome of the license is not everyone just keeping their changes for themselves.
