Very cool when an artist just says what he really thinks without worrying about cool, or irony or any of that shit. There was Matt Johnson (The The) but hes not making music anymore and now ive discovered this band. Too many songwriters today worry too much about their lyrics being too "on the nose", but whats wrong with that? Any recommendations for other current "real" stuff llke this ?

Truly fab. Went to our first Bitter Springs gig recently - blown away. And I'm playing this a lot in the pre-Election madness; lyrics so prescient......... I've voted 'tactically' since '97 [well, we got a Tory out and 'earned' Vince Cable] but the day after tomorrow, I vote with my heart & my happy socialist soul............Red x
