Okay, I have a question for the people who say it's not true. Some atheists when asked what IF someday millions of people DID vanish off the face of the earth, said they still wouldn't believe God was real or had anything to do with it, instead attributing it to aliens or a bizarre allergic reaction (huh?) So if someday about half the earth's population DOES just disappear, without a trace, only their clothes left where they stood, what would you believe then?
Maybe I'm alone on this. I did not see this movie as a child like a lot of others. I didn't even find out about it until I was a teenager. However, if I had seen this as a child, I really don't think I would've been scared of it. I was raised in a Christian household, but as kids we had tapes of cartoons of Bible stories, and I thought they were the most boring things ever made. This I probably would've found interesting at least.

Actually if you include observations of certain advantages given to other creatures in the natural world, it's not really an "opinion" that certain traits are desired. I've yet to hear anyone, even you, say there's nothing they wouldn't like to have, if some people are satisfied, so be it, but I'm talking about an overall improvement to humanity, not individualistic opinion, and in an overall sense there are a lot of things we could use that would solve a lot of problems.
If god wants to change the current way we see the Color Spectrum in terms of wavelength or frequency, changing how our retinas receive the information, or just switching some names, why can't he?
Well there's technically no need to discern color other then identification. And frankly their are animals with better eyes then that of humans. I'm not sure if you think cavemen are "real" but the eyes we have now kind of suck compared to some animals. Something like Owl eyes or sonar would have been much more useful. Actually why not night vision? In terms of survivability night vision is pretty damn useful.

Why do you think something being improved mean it was poorly design. I think at one point you said one of your kids "fools around" with programming. There are tons of way programs can be improved by shortening the amount of syntax, giving more options to the user, and being more user friendly. Maybe I'm alone on this. I did not see this movie as a child like a lot of others. I didn't even find out about it until I was a teenager. However, if I had seen this as a child, I really don't think I would've been scared of it. I was raised in a Christian household, but as kids we had tapes of cartoons of Bible stories, and I thought they were the most boring things ever made. This I probably would've found interesting at least.

You're strawman arguments are pathetic, I've said multiple times that the benefit of "savings" was one potential benefit in an overall argument that there are some things that humans could use (in terms of body parts) to improve ourselves, such as a need to rely less on modern convinces or protection. Movie about “imminent” pretribulation rapture made 39 years ago(!) In my studied opinion, the events will not occur in the order portrayed in this film. The bible clearly says that the Lord will return only AFTER the sun and moon have been darkened (Isa 13:9-10, Isa 24:20-23, Joel 2:1-10, Amos 8:8-9, Matt 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-26, Luke 21:25-28, Rev 6:12-11:15.) After that the redemption (“rapture”) will occur - an event we, as believers, eagerly await and unbelievers scoff (2 Pet 3:3-4 KJV.)

Actually if you include observations of certain advantages given to other creatures in the natural world, it's not really an "opinion" that certain traits are desired. I've yet to hear anyone, even you, say there's nothing they wouldn't like to have, if some people are satisfied, so be it, but I'm talking about an overall improvement to humanity, not individualistic opinion, and in an overall sense there are a lot of things we could use that would solve a lot of problems.

Well there's technically no need to discern color other then identification. And frankly their are animals with better eyes then that of humans. I'm not sure if you think cavemen are "real" but the eyes we have now kind of suck compared to some animals. Something like Owl eyes or sonar would have been much more useful. Actually why not night vision? In terms of survivability night vision is pretty damn useful.

Why do you think something being improved mean it was poorly design. I think at one point you said one of your kids "fools around" with programming. There are tons of way programs can be improved by shortening the amount of syntax, giving more options to the user, and being more user friendly. Something like the Gameboy is not by any means poorly designed because the 3DS, which is considered an improvement on the original technology, was made.
