  • bwahahahaha!!

    OMG is that hunter?! -facepalm-

  • terrible... so terrible

  • Great series, the Marquis is awesome, as is his coat. "I'm Door, Richard Richard Mayhew Dick, milk and sugar ?. Just Richard alright, no sugar!"

  • Am I the only one that imagined Hunter to be like that? o.O

  • @greenelphiexoxo Well, I thought the book described her with caramel skin? I pictured her kind of caribbean.

  • dissapointing...i mean i know it's low budget but it was sooo epicly wonderful when i was reading the book

  • lol this is soooo bad, needs a remake majorly.

  • jeusus, looks like it was directed by a bunch of twelve year olds and they made the set out of kitchen utensils. this has not aged well

  • this should be so much better

  • Tamsin Greig - sucking the life out. Temple and arch - that's my mother, sucking the life out of all of us.

  • Door looked NOTHING like that in my head!! for a start, it repeatedly says in the book she wears a leather jacket, and has short hair. Hunter is awesome, but again, not like I expected... Still good!

  • cheesiness at it's best. ;) I'll watch it cause I love Neil Gaiman so much.

  • @YOUNGBLOODvids4fans aaaah the cheesiness.... I can almost smell it! Yeah same, hes awesome....

  • I'm not crazy about the casting, and this is obviously a very low budget show, but of course Neil Gaiman is awesome.

  • Hunter in the series is NOTHING like i imagined her to be.

  • @ILLER121 what white?

  • @SirKil0t lol no i knew she was meant to be dark because thats how shes described in the book. i just didnt expect her to be like grace jones.

  • well, that was pretty bad.

  • Aw, I love the Marquis de Carabas! :D

  • @phantasmbunny Strangely enough I do like him too, because I never doubted his loyalty to Door like others did...

  • Why are the british shows soooo cheesy???

  • @Whitehorze - this was made in the 90s on a low budget. Look past the production values for the story cos yes, it doesn't stand up too well in 2010, but is still an excellent tale.

  • @snuglbeest Yep completely agree =) I was surprised at how different it was compared to the book (I only watched the series 2 months ago), but then I started rereading the book last week and realized that this came first lol. Gaiman wrote the story for the BBC to make a mini series, he then later decided to expand it-as he liked the story-and turn it into a book =)

I think this would be brilliant if they made it into a movie and got Gaiman involved in the production.
