I have a gap as well and I absolutely hate it.. when I saw your video I was so happy because I didn't know you could do anything about it! But then I started researching and the prices here in the UK are sooo expensive! It's like 450 pounds per veneer :'( did you get all 4 of them for 350 or each of them for 350? @JamieMayy dentists I have asked are against it. they gave as example an instance when one, say, bleaches white clothes: first time, clothes are super white, but as time passes, they get more yellow that they first were. they said same applies to teeth. now, i don't know, maybe it's not that ok to bleach your 'pearly whites' after all, but i'm still gonna do it, see if the change is that dramatic as to make me wanna give veneers up. Dein Englisch ist gar nichts schlecht :)

I love my veneers too! All my life i've had these gaps on my front teeth and i couldn't smile beautifully. I've had the same experience as you, i've had gaps and i spent $3000 for 2 teeth because cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance :/ but i love it! I'm more confident now. I'm happy that you're happy too.

@manetteski small question: do your teeth become sensitive as in 'pain when biting into something harder'? doctors keep talking about sensitivity after the procedure, i just do not know which one they reffer to: cold/ hot sensitivity or the one i just mentioned. or hopefully, none of these. thank you :)

@iluvmotorbikes not at all! No pains, sensitivity, whatsoever. My teeth just felt sensitive for a day because i had the laser whitening before that because i really wanted white teeth. But other than that, it was all fine. They only fixed my front teeth with gaps and then i had teeth fillings with the rest. It looks really really natural and white. :)

Omg my teeth are exactly like yours... I have a gap between my two front teeth (not a huge one, but just enough that it bothers me) and my teeth beside those ones are REALLY tiny. Hey Nikkie! I live in the Netherlands too (the Hague), but I've just moved from France so my dutch isn't that good. (I can say "bedankt", "kaas", "wijn" and stuff like that haha!) Anyways, my question may sound kinda stupid, but do these Laminate veneers last forever? Or do you need to 'refill", "resculpt" or "change" them after a while? You smile looks amazing like that and I think if your teeth made you insecure, you made the right decision. Keep going girl! xxx

I had teeth taken out for when my braces would be applied. The dentist injected my gums with anesthetic and then pressed then pulled out the adult teeth. For the next few hours, it was salt water to keep the holes clean and cotton pads for when they bled.

LOL here is the thing. When you are in dental school, you are told that is better for the parents to be away from the kids when you are treating them. Research shows that kids are more likely to act up and not obey if the parents are there, thus making the procedure longer and more complicated :) Your dentist was just trying to help you.

@jam3026 There are different kinds of veneers. Some are ceramic, so more expensive; and others made out of composite, wich are more affordable. Ask your dentist. I had two broken teeth fixed with composite and you can't tell; and it's far cheaper than ceramicc
