Looks like the players are floating on the ice, not really skating.

But maybe you can turn the speed down in the gameplay options and make it more realistic...

NHL 08 on PC is like some kind of arcade-game on default settings but when turning down the speed, the burst, the puck control etc. to maximum you get a pretty realistic looking game!

sorry to say but i totally disagree with you. have you ever gone to a game in real life(not saying that you didnt)! the players skate so slow, play the puck slow, miss the net alot of time, pass crappy. i put most of the aspects in hte game to minimal. for me thats a more reallistic game, oh and checking difficulty down and power down, shot aim too.

You say you put every bar to minimum almost to achieve that = same thing I do nhl08pc to get it more realistic. You say just the same thing I did, but still you say you totally disagree. thats not right, it might look slow but it most definately is not slow at all, AHL and NHL players fly down the ice on a break or backchecking etc. and obvs in the zone skate slow but u can skate slowly anyway by not pressing hard. on tv they do look slow tho.

There are acouple new phrases but they use some of the same ones from 08, i know what you mean about those phrases though, they get really annoying

They said so... I doubt they would make a Be A Pro mode and prevent players from not being able to do it as a goalie.

It's weird that in the beginning the camera is zoomed in when he doesn't have the puck, then later in the video it's zoomed out when he doesn't have the puck. I hope that means you can choose if you want it to zoom or not. I would prefer it just to stay zoomed in.

This is for the Be A Pro mode. They wanted to have an intimate feel when you have control of the puck as your BAP character. During a normal game it will have the classic NHL view that you're normallu used to.

Yeah I understand that, I'm saying that during be a pro, instead of the zoomed in 3rd person view it zoomed out a bit when he passed it then had it zoom in again(The way it does in Fifa 08 be a pro) as opposed to just staying the same (Madden Superstar Mode).
