@DatSillyWabbit, limp arming is in wrestling but has a varity of applications, air guitar is specific to wizzer defense. Notice the guitar playing motion. The movement is NOT only about ones arm being limp. Next time you decide to correct black belt instructors on their terminology it would help to actually KNOW something about the technique at hand before your fingers hit the key board.
Heres a lesson for you guys. That is called a Limp Arming and is heavily used in wrestling as a means of escaping the arm. When done right, it can usually put you in a better position to attack or defend.

air guitar more like spanked his ass and rubbed his dick all over his crotch.i feel sorry for that guy...one day hes gonna stick his dick in his mouth um this is called hidden tigeR;)
Wow... your imagination really runs with it, doesn't it? Disturbing fantasy you've got there, but to each his own.
As for the actual TECHNIQUE: it seems pretty risky. Maybe I'm saying this because I have long arms, but doesn't that escape give the opponent time to cinch in tighter on the arm?
reapersdeathx- that made me laugth.. You sure know your BJJ really well .. I wonder what you would call a "triangle choke" with you wild & healthy imagination..
Kesting's "Air Guitar" = Bravo's "DPO" = Rest of the World's "Limp Arm". A rose is a rose is a rose. And HELL yeah! It is a sweet move, especially on convulsive n00bs with a wrasslin' background.
