the bug does have powerful tork but still not as powerful as the mustang how did it win? if you see the bug popped a whelle it has rear wheel drive there for getting a much better start instead of starting slow and gaining speed it just starts off it has the trunk in the front and engine in the back.

dude...take the hp of the bug compared to its weight and you have your answer..a 1997 mustang cobra has 305 hp and weighs about 3900 lbs...closer to 4000 lbs.

the bug could have like 200 hp+ with a porche engine or sti turbo engine and weigh less than 200 lbs...

bugs are sick....id take a fast bug over a mustang any day ha

i rebuilt a 68 beetle from the ground up for my girlfriend 2 years ago as a birthday present for her. i have a valiant charger i built from the ground up and one im hevily customising atm, and enough other projects to keep me going for the next 20 years. i work on and build cars for my self and mates cos thats what i like and what i know. i hate beetles! but i say that as someone that has worked on them and driven them.
