The thing about Akerfeldt and Opeth in general is that they don't take music as if it's their existence. Most metal bands out there, especially death / black metal bands try to be dark and fearsome on stage etc. It doesn't ahve to be like that. I mean, you can play kickass metal music and still be a cool, regular person. I wouldn't trade Mikael's awesome jokes for brutal appearance. ;)
