I hate how conspiracy nuts tag what they believe onto ron paul, it makes libertarians lose credibility. I went to a Ron Paul rally once, was very enthusiastic, then I had a bunch of people asking me what I thought of 911, I said that its a tragedy because muslim terrorists attacked our country. One guy called me a traitor, one guy said I was an agent for the new world order. Unbelievable, hints why I have never been back to another rally, I will support Ron Paul from a distance because of that
This is where a lot of people misinterpret Beck. He didn't call Dr. Paul's supporters "terrorists," he said SOME are spooky. Also, this is before the tea parties really took off along with Beck's career, so he didn't have a full understanding of how it all worked. He's being a bit naiive here, but the idea he's calling names or showing malice here is crazy. At least Beck is being sincere and evolving his opinions rather than blindly saying the same things.
Masterful and arrogant wealth, created largely by Government protection of its profits, not content with its domination and influence within a single party, had sought to corrupt them both, and to that end had insinuated itself into the primaries, in order that no candidates might be nominated whose views were not in accord with theirs." Colonel Edward Mandell House in 'Philip Dru: Administrator', circa 1912
well glenn great interview ,i think ron was a little weak in this interview ,but he is the hope for america ..
what i didn't agree with is the 911 segment,i'm sure you must have watched "in plane site" "loose change" and others like this ,,just a thought, those ideas are not far fetched and if you could shed some light on how planes and bodies could disappear do a show on it we'd all love to see it.
if the government didn't do it they knew about it and let it happen..
yeah, they act like the conspiracies are so ridiculous, but stuff like that is actually possible. you have to consider the US is probably the most powerful government in the world right now, so stuff like that isnt out of their reach
The plane's parts and peoples' bodies did not disappear. Loose Change is a slanted documentation. There are plenty of pictures where you can see parts. All of the 9/11 truth movement has been shown to be a crock of shit and has been debunked if you care to learn about it.
you know this last segment comes across poorly. dont get me wrong the rest of the interview was fantastic. one of the best ive seen but implying ron paul has something to do with the crazies is like claiming the pope is responsible for fundamentalists christians. come on glenn, give the guy a break.
Ron Paul is a freemason. He is another Ross Perot, designed to bring out the freedom fighters to the vote. 10 states are required to be elected under the current scam system. less than 50% of the people vote. So 1/5th of less than half, means 1/10th of the people we call the majority rule. Now, I am not all that great at math but, that doesn't add up.
Just another masonic scam, like the masonic stance during the pledge, the national anthem. The oath of office. We've been lied to since birth. The masonic monuments and lodges are everywhere in the world.
I am still waiting? Seems like a simple question? Are you hiding in a safe house somewhere and unable to check your e-mail alerts? Still trembling in fear because some internet goofball threatened you? Or are you just hoping people will forget this clip that has been downloaded and burned to DVD? One simple question?
I am still waiting for a response to one simple question? Tell us who paid. Libertarians drove me nuts as a RP meetup organizer. They hate to waste their cherished hard assets on a cause they know won't win. Ron Paul calls himself Republican in this campaign and you call yourself Libertarian. We Democrats, Republicans and Independents are supporting Dr. Paul because he is honest not because we are libertarians. His honesty is his selling point and he is so humble he just doesn't get it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Ron Paul believes in following the constitution. This should not even be an issue. Other than that he is anti-social safety net and an isolationist. He sounds to me like a classic conservative. I think his popularity derives from the fact the republican alternatives are horrible.
Ever notice how Ron Paul is the only candidate that answers questions with a plan. And his plan is based on real factual information. All the other candidates think this is a high school election, they believe that personality and party allignment is enough. But personalities don't solve problems and the parties,...well....they don't really mean that much anymore. Let's get a president that thinks real problems need solved.
Glen RP is a Congressional Representative. He's running for the Presidency of the US. These 911 "truthers" can never be a part of any campaign. We're losing our country to new world order types--corporations who manipulate people and products, military who lie to hold positions, lower echelon folks who are threatened if they complain. Comon'! Has YOUR life really been threatened with "tons" of email, mail?
Thanks for underscoring my point - many now endorse the Unconstitutional Preemptive War. Next up Iran, then N. Korea - then when we go bankrupt and the Corporate leaders of Haliburton and Blackwater retire to their private islands alongside Osama, our children can clean up the mess.
The saddest part is that after 9/11 the Bush administration had a rare opportunity to invoke World sympathy and (truly) a World peace movement, but instead chose to declare war on the entire World in the Global War on Terror.
As Naomi Klein's book "The Shock Doctrine" details, rushing through the Patriot Act (and handling over oil rights to Texaco, etc) is a deliberate strategy by ruthless governments. Our government therefore, without a doubt, took full advantage of 9/11 to meet their own agenda, namely to hand over more power to the wealthy Corporations and to reduce the average person's ability to do anything about it (i.e. Erin Brocovich).
The key point is not that our Government caused 9/11 directly as much as their policies brewed hatred abroad. What was worse was that just days after 9/11 they rushed through the 1800 page Patriot Act (or however long) that was the same policies that Neo-Cons had been trying to get through Congress for decades but that the Civil Libertarians would have no part of.
I'm glad he asked those 9/11 questions. While all support is appreciated, the truthers really put a stain on Ron Paul's image. I'm glad he was given a good opportunity to clear the air there, and I think Beck did a fantastic and fair interview.
i loved most of this interview. the 911 shit was ridiculous and RP was right, he shouldn't have to answer ridiculous questions like that. it was very unprofessional of beck to try and make people think of "truthers" when they think of RP
He's obligated to answer them because some of his wacko supporters are so vocal on it. Ron has also answered questions during this campaign about receiving support from other people with other sharp minority views
OK Mr Beck, you lost me a bit here. How can he answer to who his supporters are and why they believe what they believe. I am sure Beck has his fair share of Quack followers. I loved Pauls face that he made while Beck asked the questions! PRICELESS
Email Glenn Beck, and aplaude him for most rational objective main media interview i have seen yet but ask him to go further and expose the globalists and the fed, boycott & attack media schills.
Reward Constitutionists and pathe the way for change. The 911 realities (well remember we need to get the"dumbed'down Boomers on our side with"baby talk" politics first, the vast majority out there are mentally brain washed with main line propaganda spin.
one of the things Ron has mentioned, which is why Truthers rally to him, is that he would authorize, if necessary, a more thorough investigation that would go ahead and answer those question the 9/11 Truth movement have. that said, the flight instructors who trained the hijackers said there was no way they could have flown those planes. so, you know, it gets blurry.
I don't think he said it in those words. I think he said he'd be open to having another investigation because an investigation headed by the government doesn't exactly give a whole lot of confidence about how deep they looked into things (that's one reason the truthers probably don't buy it, and the government certainly wouldn't really go as far as to show how badly and often they f-ed up on the intel leading up to that event)

BOY,...THINGS SURE CHANGE WHEN THE TRUTH IS EXPOSED .....TODAY ITS JUST COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT OSAMA AND ANWAR ALAKI WERE CIA ASSETS.
THE WHITE HOUSE DOESNT EVEN DENY IT !..BUT THEY STILL WONT ADMIT IT VERBALLY, EITHER...ONLY IN THE FOIA FILES .
